Definitely an option if OP rather want to play on Horde and/or both 
Would you perhaps consider dracthyr? Now that they can be other classes, you can toggle off your dragon form entirely and only ever use the visage form. The male visage form uses the void elf/blood elf body proportions, but they have more human-leaning features. It might be a nice compromise!
Kinda sad that the elf models look more human than the humans, aint it OP?
But as others have said, I would go with shortest ears and just say he is halfelf or has elf ancestry. No one should give it much thought.
