I transferred from Herod to Earthfury and comletely regret it. Earthfury seems very dead. Can I please transfer back or are there plans to merge servers?

It will level out. And if it doesn’t, they will most likely merge servers if they die enough.
Very Weak stop regretting and become someone on earthfury instead of a nobody on HEROD if your older than 18 you should stop having FOMO thats for kids

Also on Earthfury, it kinda sucks how dead it is.
I transferred from Skeram because my guild all moved. Half of us ended up quitting the guild and rerolling back on Skeram because that server was dead as crap. During prime time on the weekend you would see maybe 4 or 5 people in orgrimmar, and you’d be lucky to see anyone in any questing zone. Realm is completely dead. Wish there were paid server transfers so I could move my character back instead of rerolling.
Sometime before phase 2 Blizz is going to remove layering … your new server will be fine and you will be very happy about your choice

When Phase 2 hits and they get rid of layering, the queues for these mega pop servers will explode.
If your server is quiet right now, I would expect a lot more arrivals by Phase 2.

people complained they wanted free transfers, they get those free transfers and then complain its not as busy as the overbooked server

Ya dun goofed.
If I were you, I’d either re-roll back or suck it up and grind to 60. Being on a packed server isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Every quest that has an item to collect, well from my experience, the drop rate blows when a few others are working on the same quest. I love questing in the morning to avoid that from happening.

Posting on retail character and not the character you actually moved… hmmmm
Me smells something fishy.
They probably have layering turned on so the dead server is dead not by anything the player that moved have done. Not every player fits into the category you described. I’m noticing that the Classic community (you as an example) are more toxic than the Retail community.

I’m only “toxic” to people who undermine themselves then complain about it.
People were told to be patient and wait out the queues, but they didn’t. Now they are complaining that mistakes were made.
