I have a DITI but it seems like on almost all keyboard the alt is located on or around the Z key which is very hard to press with your left hand.
How do you all use it for that? Do you move over with your left thumb to press it. Seems a bit crunched up to do that seamlessly and then hit other guys effectively.
Don’t mean to sound dumb, I have a lot of keybinds and it’s OK but would love to find out how to open a bunch of modifier options.
Thanks!
I recommend remapping a few of your mouse keys to modifier keys. It takes the hand gymnastics out of the equation while allowing the use of more complex macros.
There is nothing wrong with spending money on a good gaming keyboard but if your budget is limited i feel that the best bang for you buck is in the mouse.
I use a Corsair Nightsword. Its got like 6 more buttons than a standard mouse and their placement is practically perfect for me except for one. If the mouse were just a little smaller it would be perfect. I went through a number of other ones before returning to this one.

Thanks. I never thought of that. Urgh.
I kicked myself for not switching sooner too. You are not alone.

Yes. My resting position has my middle finger on W so I’m already resting really far left.
I use a generic 5-button mouse and a program called “X-Mouse Button Control” that lets me re-bind mouse buttons 4 and 5 to alt and shift.
Can’t thank those who posted in this thread as my brain just didn’t realize you could actually bind a modifier to a single key on a mouse button. I have now done that and am in the process of getting used to it and having a TON more binds since I can now use that one also.
Love you all
