Using seperate install locations for two accounts on the same computer

Hello everyone, I’m looking for a solution to my little problem.

I have two BNET accounts with two ongoing subscriptions, I’d like to be able to have one launch from my main hard drive and the other launch from my backup hard drive. Before now I’ve had them using the same install location.

I’ve tried changing one to my backup hard drive, but the other account will change to that location as well a few minutes later, thank you!

you can run two different wow clients from the same drive or from C; and D: drives by using WoW.exe (make short cuts to the desktop called something like WoW1.exe from c drive and WoW2.exe from the d drive. you don’t need to use the launcher but only if there’s an update
