I’m curious if using scrolls on pets to buff them up a bit is a good/bad/indifferent idea. I tend to solo a lot in leveling so having a somewhat better pet seems like a good thing but I don’t know if the effects are worth it or not.
I think when levelling hunters, it’s generally better to buff your pet, rather than yourself. Anything that increases their tankiness/dps/threat is always a good thing.

And with warlock pets? Would those help the pet out?
Not sure why stamina, armor, or dps wouldn’t at least help a void walker.

Okay. Thanks for the reply! I have asked on 3 different servers and no one will give me any comment one way or the other on it. I’m not a good enough player to know whether using the scrolls is making a difference or not so I thought asking here might help.
It is, to an extent. Treat your Hunter pet like a Warrior.
Str gives 2AP per point and Agi gives .05 crit.
So Str and Agi scrolls will help with their dps, but unless you loot one while soloing and just want to use it, I wouldn’t go out of my way to find/purchase them. And if in a group, the scrolls will benefit a War or Rogue more.
Honestly not sure how they would affect Void Walkers though.

Okay thanks! I guess I can try it all out and see how it goes. My highest level WL (45) has been using a Succ pet lately so I’m not sure if I should switch to a VW for this or not. Every question answered brings up 1 or 2 more, it seems.
I use scrolls on my pets etc because why not. Like I don’t tend to buy them for that use but I’ll use what I get. I’m also not sure how they work exactly on a Voidwalker or Succubus but I’m sure they do something.
I also buff pets when I’m playing buff classes.
Or spirit.
In raids when I pop out my skeleton book I always buff the skeleton up. And it makes a big difference.

Same thing can be said for spreists. Wanna embarrass yourself more today with your inability to read logs correctly or try to claim that a class doing 700 dps is “unviable” for the average raid group? You are the ultimate classic Andy lol.
Skeleton is an average 50 dps increase with might and jujus btw 
A shadow priest with 2-3 locks in the raid brings enough dps to be in the top 5 vs a lolret in dead last, just ahead of the healers
