Using "Disarm" against certain classes

Hello guys, i have a quetion related to PVP, about the Disarm abilitie. I saw by myself that when i was disarmed by other warrior, or when i disarm a warrior, a rogue, or hunter, that the disarmed character can’t use abilities that require the use of some kind weapon.
But what i don’t know is if when i disarm to a druid in feral or guardian form, or to a monk (classes that aparently don’t use weapons to do damage) , that adversary get some “effect” that affect in some way some of their melee abilities? or their capacity to do damage as a whole.
That’s all, thanks in advance.

There is no effect. That is all

Thanks men.

Disarm is only good against other warriors or stopping a dk from healing himself with deathstrike. every other class can do about 90% of dmg while disarmed. i was nuked by a ret pally in an arena from 80% to 0% while he was disarmed and i was in a hammer… so in conclusion its just another case of blizzard don’t care.

Disarm does have an effect on those classes. Obviously it effects some more than others (Warrior, hunter, etc), but if you disarm a feral or something they do less damage. It prevents the use of some abilities on some classes too like on monks they can’t use fists of fury while disarmed. Not sure about others though. But it does reduce the damage they do.

Yes, something like those things i was suspecting. Thanks.

I have a hunter, and i was disarm more than once, and i was unable to use any range weapon abilities.

I don’t know too much about paladins offensives abilities, but i remember that in MOP they could do damage with a few spells (or at least one) that didn’t require the use of a weapon.
