This is just partly a useless complaint, partly a personal observation, and I don’t really care if people think I’m right or wrong.
I’ve been a much more casual player of the game recently, and I’m only coming back to try and get back into the game in a big way (IE high M+/raiding) with Season 2. With the introduction of the Flame’s Radiance I realize that I don’t enjoy World Quests for immersive reasons.
I enjoy daily questing, and while I never thought world quests were inherently bad, I felt like they were missing something that detracted from daily questing, and working with the Flam’es Radiance made me realize that it was actually picking up and turning-in quests.
World quests are great and convenient, but I do miss actually having to go to a small hub and gather your blue exclamation points for the day. It makes me feel like I’m involved with something bigger, rather than just completing literally random chores around the Isle of Dorn.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
