I’m rolling Mining + Engineering on my Vulpera Hunter. I’m the kind of peron who needs to have maxed professions for each xpac so I plan on leveling everything. Are there any old Engineering items, besides the obvious Jeeves, that are still useful nowadays? Are any of the old explosives worth carrying around like Arcane Bombs?

Goblin gliders are pretty primo. (Alas, not the tinker version any more, if you’re doing 8.3 content, but the normal ones will work well.)
Utility toys like the mailbox (MOLL-E) and the transmog tool (Deployable Attire Rearranger). Blingtrons for a little fun. If you do pet battles, there are several good mechanical pets. And mounts.
