Us fighting the void in midnight makes no sense

So the void is what drove Sargeras insane just by looking at it.

Sargeras created the legion to destroy existence before the void could corrupt it and create a void powered titan which would have unrivaled power over everything in existence and lead to a void victory.

The void lords sent out pieces of themselves (the old gods) to accomplish this very task and of course have not done it yet.

Sargeras being arguably the single most powerful person in the entire wow universe and we players are basically ants compared to sargeras.

So how is it that we as the people who are ants to sargeras whom the void drove insane supposed to fight the void? And the old gods are just tiny pieces of a single void lord and it supposedly took everything we had just to beat 1 old god.

Power creep of course

That would be the steepest power climb ever.

We would have to be almost titan level.

From mortal…to god… literally

I thought Zovaal was the biggest bad guy in the setting. He was a majestic Titan++ level entity. Lowly Sargeras, peon that he is, is merely a Titan without even a single +. Pathetic.

Also Sargeras was but a cats paw of Zovaal. It is known.

Zovaal’s plan was the same as sargerases which was to either destroy or corrupt azeroths titan soul.

The objective of the void is to corrupt azeroths titan soul into a void corrupted titan ensuring their dominance.

The goal of zovaal (death) was to corrupt azeroths titan soul ensuring deaths dominance.

Every cosmic forces objective has been something to do with claiming azeroths world soul for themselves. And this is because azeroth is considered to be the strongest titan yet known even stronger than sargeras.

So i think its safe to assume titan=stronger than zovaal

You don’t have to assume, because we were already told. Zozo is Titan++ levels of power. Greater by a magnitude of exactly two +'s. That is world of Blizzard themselves via Twitter (x). Word of god. No assumptions necessary.

Azeroth’s identity as a titan has also been called into question.

Did it drive him insane?
I thought he just considered it a cancer on the universe and wanted to destroy it.
From another perspective, he was the only sane Titan.

Yet… where is he now?

Yep, Dollar Store Thanos was so strong the players beat him easily, with nothing but a special hat to delay his domination magic. Sounds like he wasn’t powerful at all, he just had strong MC powers.

Well within a very short time frame sargeras went from level headed champion of the pantheon to burning demon fel infused god who was so anxious about the void that he simply killed the whole pantheon for disagreeing with him and decided the only course of action was to destroy all of existence.

So yeah probably drove him insane which is on theme with what the old gods try to do.

Maybe we were just having a good day. Well rested and hydrated. I’m not here to make it make sense, I’m just repeating Blizzard’s take on the story they’re telling.

There’s been some serious turnover since then, and the current people have outright said that Shadowlands made no sense and didn’t feel like Warcraft. I suspect retcons are coming.

Shadowlands and the realm after death was always a thing.

Dating back to the old maps death was a cosmic entity we stopped just like the void is evidently a cosmic entity we are somehow going to stop to.

Something I guess must be widely liked is the planet is an incubator for titans, but I still wonder from time to time. Is Azeroth being a titan all that popular of a concept?

When a titan is born from a planet world soul. the planet is destroyed

They are the size of planets after all just look @ sargeras.

But do people think its a good concept is mostly what I wonder?

First we got Void power Paladins in Void Elfs, unfortunately you can’t do anything with nonsense things in this latest lore giving the community a whim, like hoofed races being rogues in the Draneis and Taurens, Fel Eredars in the Draneis as customization and lizard people who think they are dragons like the Drakcthyrs, when you had the opportunity to Ogres and Vrykuls as a playable race.

And don’t talk about anything else that Blizzard added as part of Social Contract or my post will end up being inappropriate for toxic people who search flagged my post as meaningless as themselves.

from the weapons artifacts, a lvl 110 where our stats are more of 1M in all, and defeat to TITAN SOUL like in Argus in the Seat of the Pantheon, We were probably the most powerful adventurer champions that have ever come.

as we were also slaves, pawns by 2 angry WOMAN BOSS like Jaina and Sylvanas in submitting to commit war crimes in Dazar’lor and Darnasus in BfA, something that because of the power of the script we do not know who we really are, how much power we have or how much we do not We have enough time for Blizzard to degrade us again at the whims of crying little girls or someone worse.

and thats we are in midlle of COSMIC WAR BETWEEN VOID FORCES VS LIGHT FORCES, where the main villains are them and we are pawns of one only unknowing purpose, Something we don’t know if Blizzard will add to a Lighforge alternated Draenor Yrel, plus a crazy bloodthirsty Turalyon in one of the expansions.

But those of Shadowlands do not know if I would add that it was true that the one who pulled the strings was the Primus and in new stupid Arbitrer Pelagos was his puppet for some very powerful purpose.

Without forgetting Elune’s intention, although unlike that, we see that it is for a good purpose.

This is the story according to the titans yes. But now that they say that this is all the perspective of the titans, and not some guaranteed truth we may see changes to the overall lore.

Chained up and getting spanked by Daniel.

The important thing is that you need to believe you can win.

And this is why I stopped reading quest text and just glance at the bottom to see how many I need to kill, gather or deliver.
