okay I’ve reached a level of frustration with this game to the point i feel the need to vent it and offer suggestions to which i hope ill be credited for.
I’ve been a petless hunter since pandora’s lonewolf and at this point i cant go back to having a pet, blizzard needs to make accommodations for players that choose petless hunters in addition they need to improve the MM over all. I have no idea how to begin but here goes:
Kiting - to many melee classes have so many moves its impossible to even move from your place and every time i create a gap it gets closed instantly! warriors, dk’s, dh, shaman, feral, monks, rouges and pally’s all have so much mobility its crazy and what’s messed up is while kiting a paladin they are able to shoot at me while chasing me down dealing more damage to me then i ever could while standing?!?!?! another annoying issue is the inability to properly fight them, on top of being blasted and unable to move from all the snares and stuns classes like rouge run behind me forcing me to turn but I’m unable to even move properly. also ill mention EVERY CLASS CAN STUN AND DAMAGE ME WITHOUT BREAKING THE STUN. Btw all these classes have so many instant bursts meaning they can move as they release so much dps! Back to the mobility its so hard to chase down a target that keeps LOS’ing me and all i can do is use the same weak instant moves arcne and steady shot, in pvp a few secs can make a big difference and often times i can never make a few seconds for myself.
next is the buffs aka CD’s all classes have and the turtle - litterly every class has some sort of shield or buff that protects them fully AND THEY CAN CONTINE TO FIGHT IN IT but if i use my very weak turtle which btw doesn’t remove dots or snares and mind you I’ve died many times in a turtle, i can no longer attack or even place traps not to mention running away if im snared. yet paladins, rouges, dh, monks …etc can buff up becoming immune and blast damage, the one that frustrates me the most is warlocks! your telling me they have a shield 3x there health (exaggerating) and they can blast insane dps, i litterly have to waste my entire open to “absorbed” just like with monks and pallies or dodge with rouges. so not only do i not have proper defensives but I’m also limited with them and i have the worst mobility.
Traps - I’VE SUGGESTED THIS A MILLION TIMES! TRAPS ESPECILLY FREEZE NEEDS TO ONLY…ONLY BE TRIGGERED BY PLAYERS!!! It is absolutely annoying when there is so many minions and you try to freeze a player but instead freeze a minion, no one ever cc a minion in pvp ever! While I’m at it the way traps are thrown is so inaccurate that it has to be improved I suggested a freezing arrow -perhaps make it in the talent tree.
i get disarmed so much its crazy! Also tranquilizing shot needs to prioritize shields. in addition ive noticed as well healers are so strong, you can no longer kill them or anyone in the openers like before, but now healers feel impossible to kill 1v1 but they can easily kill me.
One big issue i have as a petless MM is I can rarely win 1v1. my best bet is if i start in stealth and have traps set otherwise itll be a very tough fight. also why does the dwarf dispel have side effects? if im almost dead and have dots by sham or lock or priest and all i have is my dispel then im dead either way!
in conclusion blizzard should make a subsection in the MM for petless hunters, hunters overall need better defensives and mechanisms in place to help them kite better and other improvements to offset the disadvantages they face from other classes.
