URGENT: Dawnbreaker dungeon (war within) for game developers

Dear game developers,

If you’re reading this please considering adding a mechanic or something for those who can’t dragonride in that particular dungeon (dawnbreaker) due to the fact that those who do have motion sickness won’t be able to do the dungeon come in the war within. Please find some way to rectify this health related accessibility issue. Since, I don’t have access to alpha I can’t post there on the war within alpha forums and so I have to posted on the general forums. And if there are any game developers that is reading this post please consider those who have health issues (motion sickness) into a dungeon mechanic / design.

From,

A Concerned player

That’s what the passenger options is for, isn’t it?

Edit: just watched a video of it. One or two people need to intercept bombs, but everyone else just needs to get to another ship. They can do that with the passenger option.

Problem solved.

The game design should not be built around a very small fraction of players.

Its already set in stone and they’re not going to change their mind.

Nothing is set in stone since they are in ALPHA TEST 3

this is blizzard that we’re talking about. They’re not going change for a small community who has motion sickness.

Nothing needs changed. Use passenger mode. Geebus.

If that were the case than why are there certain quest that gives you an option to dragonride or let an AI collect the stuff for you. And also TBC flying used to require renown but was removed due to accessibility reasons. Not unless they will let normal flying allowed in the dungeon otherwise there will be a massive accessibility issue for not included those who has motion sickness problems.

There’s only one. And again, your problem is solved with passenger mode.

I’m assuming this is a Bulakzebgor alt, considering this is the same thread as Amirdrassil and you’re ignoring the obvious solution like you did last time.

Before release of 10.2 on the PTR renown were a part of the requirement for pathfinder but was removed due to accessibility. And moving that day forward that is being considered when unlocking TBC flying.

Oh thats what you meant lmao

I thought you were saying flying in TBC required renown originally

I wish they would tone back that dragon riding. It serves no useful purpose to put it in dungeons and raids.

Can’t it be possible there will be regular riding enabled too?

I don’t get motion sickness if I fly myself but I sure do with passenger mode.

Yes.

In short, passenger or “swim flying” should be available. If you still have motion sickness issues, then that’s still a valid concern. Nothing wrong with asking for accessibility options.

I don’t know and that is what worries me if they won’t allow TBC flight or have any type of mechanism that would help you get around the dungeon then we will have a massive problem in terms of excluding those who have motion sickness and won’t be able to participate in that one dungeon (dawnbreaker).

And so I am hoping that a game developer can get this message in time to rectify this issue.

Genuine question for you: How do you handle the Tindral boss fight?

You can use TBC flight in Nokhud Offensive, I see no reason to believe you can’t use TBC in the Dawnbreaker. Just avoid doing it until you’ve unlocked TBC Flight through the pathfinder that is available “shortly after reaching max level.”

I can only hope they do allow TBC flight. I for one don’t have motion sickness but I worry those that do.

I am against exclusionary treatments.
