how does this even work
i did shipping and handling tasks during surge pricing and it never marked as complete
I am curious too. I have done it on 5 different characters. Surge activates, I do contracts the ENTIRE time it is up (and at least 40% of those are shipping ones) and then it randomly ends and I still haven’t completed the quest. I’ve gotten and opened the reward box things that you get for filling the bar and everything… yet, still haven’t completed the quest.
Either this thing is broken or the expectation on what to do to complete it is anything but clear.
what ive learned is that you should be there for the first or second box, do 1 task and by the time either box is realized you should be able to complete the weekly.
third box might not be able to finish to finish off the task

Annoying. This is still happening. I just did 5 jobs AND got the tip boxes but no quest done.
It’s buggy. When I am super careful it sometimes doesn’t work and then when I just randomly do it not paying attention it completes when I don’t think it even should have
It is based on when the boxes are given out. So if you are there right off the bat (usually 2 min after the X:30 time) you are guaranteed it. They do need to have more break points in there, as right now it is pretty much a 1 char per hour event (like troupe). Unlike comm feast in DF where you could do 5-6.
Are you choosing a cartel for the week before doing the surge? I noticed last week I couldn’t complete it until I chose a cartel for the weekly rep.

I did choose a cartel on my main during the week already. I’ve never had to also for alts, granted this was also a fresh alt that I just did the undermine story skip with as well so it should’ve been ready to go to my knowledge.
I just avoid Undermined all-together. Don’t like the aesthetic, the stupid car, the over-engineered daily grind quests. None of it appealed to me. I MAY go back and grind out some rep to get the mounts when I have out gered/out levelled the zone. The mounts and stuff I have even a passing interest in will probably be available in the trading post by then.
If I don’t have to deal with Undermined it will be worth the wait.
Go down there, wait till like 31 mins past the hr, when you see the bar at the top go into car and turn on jobs, do one job, afk till quest is complete.
Seems to always work for me when I do it like this. Make sure cartel is picked first and jobs are OFF before surge time ( 31mins ish past the hr )
