Ur bad luck protection is absolute bull

Might be a hot take but I would rather do a quest line (like Shadowmourne, Teracgosa’s rest and fangs of the father) to get a legendary then have to pray to the RNG gods every week to the RNG gods to get it.

Considering if this is what Blizzard’s going forward with legendaries being RNG drops, I’m not looking forward to having a legendary that I can use as a WW/BrM monk being locked behind RNG.

I was directly referring to the Legion system.

Time to touch grass i believe.

Is it really?

There are way more weird stuff than someone playing the game for gear.

Random number generators do be generating numbers randomly.

Why you yelling at everyone here…

Also, while the vault isnt perfect. Bro… Seriously, Would you rather spend 5k gold for a bonus roll, then only to win 1000 gold back each time because that system was way way worse…

I think it’s a mistake to directly compare the Great Vault and Bonus Rolls - yeah Blizzard did reference that the former’s existence was part of the reason for getting rid of the latter. But realistically while they both serve as bad luck protection, they are both best at different things.

The Great Vault is great for pushing general item level up. When you have gaps in many places and a lot of different options could benefit you, the Great Vault shines. At the start of the season, Great Vault is fantastic for players to get power level spikes.

Bonus rolls, on the other hand, are far better at fishing for a specific item. You were able to increase your chances at loot at a specific raid boss or at the end of a specific dungeon to reduce the size of the loot table against which you were rolling. As we get to the middle and especially end of the season, Bonus Rolls are far more useful when you are much more likely to need exactly item X.

To be clear, both systems have their flaws, so I’m only talking about design here and how each can benefit the player. Realistically I think both systems should be in the game in some fashion. If Blizzard has significant heartburn with the extra loot players would get as a result, they could come up with some way to make the systems interact with one another so we have to choose whether we want our luck to go toward the Great Vault or Bonus Rolls. For instance, our kills of content could give us tokens that would be used for bonus rolls (with harder content giving tokens that net higher level rewards for the bonus roll) that we have to spend with the Great Vault before we open it to unlock our slots; this way if you spend your tokens on bonus rolls you would have fewer to feed the Vault.

good lucky protection ,more attempts means less chance it looks like

Daddy chill

If you are going to tune classes around an item, then make the item deterministic in it’s acquisition. I will now actively avoid any class with this kind of legendary in future content. That is a total failure on Blizzard’s part

All it takes is for Blizzard to start balancing all classes around Legendary gear now.

Imagine your favorite class getting nerfed to the ground cause of a Legendary item that you may or may not know about.

So with the next patch due in March, and Season 4 going on the PTR at that time, there’s basically 2, maybe 2 1/2 months until Season 4. Can we just get numbers on how much the BLP adds each week, Blizzard? Most of us will never see it now.

Why do you type like an 80 year old man on Facebook?

it’s a fair complaint considering everything revolving around this leggo, sincerely.

However, a couple things:
Don’t get so worked up about loot, for your health.
Your delivery of the message will make spineless people tune out as well as reasonable people, maybe devs are some of those people.

But I agree with your complaint.

Another week of bull embers. I really hope they never make another legendary like this again. RNG is not fun.

Be happy you didn’t get the drop this week — apparently the quest is bugged and the part where you need to kill raid bosses isn’t working properly.

Wait what? Now we got a quest for it that is glitched out?
