Is the Lifesteal proc scaling 1:1 with spellpower? I cant be seeing that right.

Thats why i asked. I knew it did on a few Private Servers but i was almost 100% it didnt scale at all on Live.
I remember being bummed about that when I first got my corrupted ashbringer especially having a bunch of spell damage with my t2.5
Biggest let down for classic was finding out that procs didnt scale with spell damage. Would have been great for paladins, shamans and the occasional madlad of a rogue.

Weird thing is, its ONLY spell procs that dont scale. Fiery, Lifesteal, etc.
Physical damage procs(e.g Doomsaw, Halberd of Smiting, etc) dont scale with AP but they DO scale with %damage modifiers like Enrage and Vengeance.
I like how that one Warrior wasn’t in Berserker stance for your Repent and then auto attacked you out of his own Intimidating Shout.

My shockadin uses https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=19852/ancient-hakkari-manslayer and skullfame. Both scale 1:1 with spell dmg (well shadow spell dmg). I’m not super geared but when I pop ZHC they will life drain for 500 ish.

Concerning the ancient hakkari manslayer, here is the top comment on wowhead from 2006 patch 1.12

The chance on hit for this axe IS affected by dmg/healing, in turn actually giving you a 200% bonus from it, as the dmg portion is directly affected as well as the heal.
(i.e. if you have 400dmg/heal this axe will proc for 448-454dmg, and heal you for that much as well.)
Other items which have a similar proc to them are also affected in this manner."
Not sure if the proc on ashbringer ever scaled or not.

Ashbringer proc scaling with spellpower would be crazy! Sometimes i have 3 procs within a span on 10 seconds.
