I’ve never done a recraft order before and I’m getting to the point where I’ll have enough Gilded Crest to upgrade my weapon.
I was curious though…under “Provide Optional Reagents” I can add the missive, embellishment and Crest. I know I need the Enchanted Gilded crest to go from 619 to 636 but do I need to add those same missives/embellishment again or can I just leave them if I just wanna keep the same stats
typically you can leave as is.
If it was initially there, it stays there. I beleive it keeps everything you dont replace.
No you do not need to add new embellishments or missive when you recraft an item. Only if you want to change the stats/embellishment
Yeah, the Reforging UI needs some work. Anything you already supplied will stay when recrafting unless you specificially overwrite it with a replacement. This includes Missives and Embellishments. And, even though the UI keeps blanking out the spot where you put your Spark, Recrafting does not consume another Spark, so don’t freak out like I kept doing early on in the expansion.
Basically, you just gotta pop that shiny new Enchanted Gilded Crest in place of your old Enchanted Runed Crest and BAM, more iLvls.
Assuming you want the same embellishment and stars, all you need to do is add the new crest. The rest is already there for you on recraft.
