So can you not upgrade to the Epic Edition if you already have the Base Edition?

You know, I assume you can, but I’ve never had to do that. If you go back to purchase again, does it not give you that option to buy only the rest? (Or am I thinking of Steam purchases)

They let you upgrade the versions of past expansions, I feel. This one should also be true.
To be fair we do get a lot of off server people asking questions like this. And OP is still welcome to tell us about their character.
I think I used to see both in game and on the launcher a message about upgrading my expansion in the shop. Try searching there?
This is pretty much a WrA forum meme at this point.
Also, as to the OP’s question, unsure. Hopefully you only have to pay the difference but this may be something for the Customer Support forum.
