Looking to get a new Mac to play on. Only have had a 2019 MacBook Pro in the past and was unable to fix the issues introduced with upgrading with Sonoma. I wanted to ask if anyone plays on the Mac’s with M3 and if they work and/or have good performance. Not expecting to have settings on Max or anything crazy.

I play on a M1 Mac Mini. It’s very low spec compared to current model. But it runs fine. I set graphics on 4 and make few tweaks.
I do recommend a minimum 120 Hz monitor.
I’m hold out for M4 studio that’s expected next year.
I play on a M3, has it made so I was able to avoid the gouging in retail, allowing me to add storage.
In the prep patch, it was really bad, but I think that was common for everybody.
Since launch, I get 60 frames per second pretty much everywhere.
Note that this is my first Mac ever and I’m unsure about how to maximize the graphics by using manual stuff but I did diddle around a little good performance. I can’t complain.
The 4k retina monitor is great
