There isn’t a topic for Dornogal crest upgrades. my question is what quest do I need to do so I can upgrade my Weathered, Carved, and Runed Crest? I know you have to be at a certain Item Level but I’m Item lvl 150. I have 800 Weathered, 720 Carved, and 230 Runed Crests that I can’t upgrade…. HELP
It’s not about your ilvl. What you need is to have ALL your equipped item not need a crest(aka be done with all upgrades of that tier), for that crest to be available for transfer to the next quality of crest. And you do that witt the NPC right next to the upgrade NPC in dornogal. He might have a quest, you probadly did that quest a long time ago, but if he has the quest just do it.
You could be 150 ilvl, but if you have a Veteran piece that’s not fully upgraded in any slot, that’s going to prevent you from using the upgrade exchange. Every slot has to “outgrow” a crest in order to exchange that old crest for a better one.
Also, if you have the 170 cloak and/or delve belt, you need to get an upgradeable piece. Just buy the champion ones from the twilight highlands event and upgrade. It’s bugged.
But check the vendor next to the upgrade guy, he will have the downgrades which cost 15, you don’t want those. The upgrades will be the ones that cost 45

You have to craft and upgrade a cloak. The artifact cloak is bugged since the patch.
I had to do this and it did the trick.
Yea…not sure why those even exist. I cant honestly think of a single time I’ve had to downgrade crests. The upgrade are 45 though, not 75, assuming just a typo.

ahh thanks for the correction, haven’t upgraded anything in 3 or 4 months so I was working off my poor memory. I will fix it just for clarity
