When would you need to hold 50 quests at once?
Don’t say for getting Loremaster because there are add-ons for that.
No. I’m always getting stuck having to dig through my log for quests to drop on my characters and I know I’m not the only one. 25 is pathetically low especially if they wanna start using daily quests again.

Why aren’t you completing your quests? I have to abandon quests on my characters too but it’s just quests I picked up leveling I never got rid of and have no intention of doing.
Useful macro to abandon all quests

Good question. They kind of went linear on rails with the current designs so you only have a few possible at a time.
But leveling alts or completionist chipping away at old story content could actually use a couple hundred to unlimited cap with better tools for grouping an quickly highlighting quests.

Abandoning a quest makes you feel like a loser. They asked you to do something, you failed to do it. Yeah, some big hero of Azeroth.
Downvotes on the forum made people feel like losers. They changed that. It improved the quality of life.
Please bump it up to 50. It’s a good solid number, like the number of characters we can have on an account.

Or really a better solution would be to move Daily quests to their own log. For instance I’m doing Argent Crusade dailies and that’s 9 quests right there. So I can only hold a “back log” of 16 quests. I’ve got a handful of raid skip quests, one pet battle one I can’t delete, and a few I’m actively working on for loremaster. I’m usually at 20-25 quests at all times and it’s so frustrating.
As a completionist I never ran into a situation where I needed 50 quests in my log at a time. I could abandon them and just come back and pick them up later nbd. Some quests of course you can’t, because they have to sit in your log as days/weeks pass but there aren’t 50 of those.
I have never felt like a loser dropping a quest. I know it is there for me when I can get back to it.
Someone asked you to do something, you told them you would do it, then you just don’t do it.

There is actually a good reason in the UI of wacraft as to why we only get 25.
It actually slows the game down somehow to have more and more “active” in terms of npc interaction and breadcrumbs and such from what I heard.
So its not as if they are against it really its a technical issue.
Or you can do something really radical and like, I don’t know, doing the quests.
There is no achievement for collecting quests in the log

Originally (vanilla) the quest log was 20, then in BC they increased it to 25. When did you hear about this limitation?
