I’m talking about old armor that has become really outdated due to texture quality but still looks so good! I wanna be able to look good on my chars without sacrifising textures!

Updating armor seems like a great idea, but some prefer the old graphics, for some reason.

Could it be because that little glowing thingy in your helmet is putting everything way too HD for you.

Yes! There are some lovely gems from the past I’d love modernised.
I like the leather troll dresses from WoW classic and the cloth AQ40 dresses to be remade with modern texture.
That’s fair - maybe they could introduce new instances/ways to get the high graphics ones.

Just cause I’m a girl doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy my character looking hot! I have to stare at her back most of the time after all! 
And tweak textures to fit new models…

The new model got a bigger chest. The texture of the old was just slapped on the new… resulting in… big ol yikes. It’s the only top that has this, afaik, but it has 3 recolours.
It was the only outfit I liked on her… Call me silly, but it is probably why I have trouble playing her now.
First one has a much more defined face as well, new is just… lol egg.

While this sounds good in theory, given how they just homogenized all the starter zone sets, I would prefer they keep they eyes- and mitts- off all old stuff.

How about a new set that’s an upgrade of the old. Like they did with those raidsets that were redone in legion?

It baffles me that they haven’t done a tier 3 revamp already, but we’re on the second round of tier 6 remasters…

Maybe some of the old Vanilla and tbc green sets.

I’d love remakes of old vanilla/bc/wrath tier sets like the t6 tomb of sargeras remakes as timewalking or torgast rewards
Also remakes of the old scholomance sets that were removed when the dungeon got revamped
Like keep the old dated sets but add more sets like them, just modernized

I’m one of those utter weirdos who doesn’t understand why seemingly no one wanted the graphics upgrades in classic. It kills the game for me a good bit that I can’t transmog or use the barbershop, and pretty much only play retail to look cool.
Who knew how difficult it was to stick to a single hair color until you’ve played a version of the game that doesn’t even let you pay cash to change it. You have to reroll. How fun.
Thing is, I’m pretty satisfied with TBC in a lot of ways, but if it had queues and modern graphics, I’d have little reason to play retail. I pretty much can’t stick to classic-only like my brother because I’m too addicted to having an actual appearance and being able to queue. I mean I sure am not staying in retail for, say, torghast.

i will be happy with just and Upscale in older textures. It will make them look good, again.
I am suprised that many of the bc era armors still looks amazingly. Alittle bit blurry but not so bad as the classic ones
