During the My First Home Quest on my Alliance main Denlor-Lightninghoof which I did all the steps for except bringing the Steward Lyssabel Dawnpetal to my plot, I had to teleport out of the housing instance to help a friend. I logged out and went to complete the quest the next day. The Steward npc did not reappear with my main. I Abandoned the quest and tried to get it from her again. I could not. Now the quest is marked complete as the wowhead macro checked for me. But the Upgrade npc keeps telling me I am not ready. Come back later when I’m ready.
I am terribly upset that I cannot upgrade my house to level 2 even though the housing window says I can level up to level 3. I had logged in to well over 130 characters on my two accounts for their class campaign completions to gain housing xp that I can’t even use at Level 1: 1930 / 10. My housing experience has been ruined by this bug that even several GMs in my ticket cannot correct. I tried what they told me to do reliquishing both my Alliance and Horde houses to ty it on another character. Neither my Alliance Alt or Horde Alt can do the quest chain since it was “Complete” on my Alliance Main. I am not the only person this has happened to. There were 4 posts on the Wowhead page of the above quest that spoke of suffering this same bug. Please help me open up the upgrade npc to level my house above level 1.
