Hi there! Updraft is a casual, currently one-night-a-week AoTC-focused raiding and M+ community. We are looking to shore up our numbers in anticipation of 10.2 dropping to go into the next raid tier strong… just like everyone else is doing right now. 
► About Us:
Updraft is mostly adults in our 30’s and 40’s. We have a lot of women gamer representation, as well as LGBTQ+ folk. Most of us have played WoW for many, many years. We run the gamut from raiders who have seen hardcore Mythic raiding in the past, to those who picked up the game fairly recently and are still learning.
After grabbing that H Sarkareth kill, we have called a break to raiding for now until we pick back up in 10.2, refreshed and raring to go. That said, we still have a small but active community doing Mythic+, cheevos, screening movies together in discord (hell yeah, spooky season!), and playing other games like Baldur’s Gate 3. We even have a dedicated “sussy” alternate discord where we host social deduction games at least once a month, such as Blood on the Clocktower or Among Us. Oh, and we’re planning a meet-up in Las Vegas in February 2024, if that floats your boat!
Our main rules are all the obvious ones, and they all boil down to 1) please pass the vibe-check, and 2) be respectful of the fact that we all come from different walks of life with different life experiences and different viewpoints.

*We briefly added voluntary Saturdays in during the last raid, to mixed results. We may do something like that in the future as well.
Previous Progression: Aberrus 9/9H (with a little help from friends to slay the attendance boss, admittedly) | Vault of the Incarnates 8/8H
► What We’re Looking For:
Mostly DPS! All roles tend to swap around each tier as people choose new toons to main, so we’re open to discussing everything. That said, we have a lot of people rather fond of tanking and healing in guild, so we usually find DPS easier to get in.
One more note: If you raid elsewhere to scratch your Mythic/hardcore raiding itch but can’t get enough and want a chill one-night group for an alt, that’s cool too. If you’re Horde, that’s… well. I mean, I guess you can join. All we ask is that you have a community-focused attitude regarding guild, and try to be consistent with attendance, even if we’re not your “main” guild. RL always > WoW, but we all dedicate time and effort to raiding, and only ask for respect for such.
