Is there a spot that has all the updated notes for paladins? Or can someone post me the link? Im terrible at finding this info.

I’ll save you the trouble if you were going to hunt it down. There is nothing exciting going on for Ret as we move from 11.0.7 to 11.1

There is a sticky on the PTR forum that gets edited every time there’s changes.

Agreed.

Although the data mined notes say that the Final Reckoning initial blast is getting a massive buff of 80%. So, it may actually see some play.

keep in mind, radiant glory keeps fr from being used. you would have to hold hol and press both hol and fr at 10 crusade stacks. getting 10 crusade stacks with rg is hard without hol

Prpt getting lots of nerfs, they suck but the spec is not unplayable I dont think

Ret getting nerfs to their healing again, templar hero tree getting a sizeable nerf

FR is friendlier for herald builds.

herald still uses crusade rg. idk what you mean by these “builds”

Of course someone single minded can’t understand there is more builds then those that uses crusade.

show me one thast competitive in actual content , that uses FR

the only build is a AW build, but that requires groups to play around your 1min cd. also ES is still used over FR in that build

An 80% buff that is mentioned will change that.

i really dont think it will tbh, buffing frs direct damage doesnt really fix anything about rets overal issues nors FRs issues.

ES prio damage is strong while FR still has its flaws. just more direct damage

Will it see play over ES? Only time will tell…

Yes but you’re comparing that vs the big es you get at the end of your burst window. It’s probably still not enough

And both FR and ES are nerfed in pvp like nearly every Ret ability or passive talent, and pvp talent. ES is immunable, diminished by other defensives, or spell reflected in pvp. So pve folks say use ES its the only way, FR is trash(even in pve without pvp nerfs this is true), and the spec is tuned to be WEAK on PTR with the hope that ES damage will save the day, but in pvp it might influence a defensive with it’s visual, but the reality is the enemy that lets ES land is fine, not even harmed.

Ya pve es is still the way to go, fr probably won’t compete
