I think I’d enjoy any of these choices except the Nerubian Swarmer which seems kind of boring and possibly ugly to me although I do hope Blizzard adds all of these eventually for everyone.
Ultimately I went with the wandering ancient because I love Lord of the Rings and thought it would be fun to pretend I’m riding on Treebeard! I’ve used high seaters from time to time before and don’t usually encounter too many problems that people have described with them not fitting under stuff. The few times I have, I just unsummon them and summon a different mount. It definitely can happen, but for me it doesn’t happen frequently enough for me to not use those mounts altogether. But I understand that for other people even the chance of that happening is enough to make them not want to bother with the mount in first place, and I totally understand voting for one of the other ones instead of the tree for that reason.
I just wanted to add that I found myself using non-flying mounts much more than I expected I would post-pathfinder in BfA, and I don’t even PvP on battlegrounds. There’s a number of dungeons that allow for mounts to be summoned, but you can’t fly in them. All island expeditions mounts can be summoned but you can’t fly and same for vision runs. The big problem as I see it is the way Blizzard’s current favorite system works. When you favorite a non-flying mount and are in a non-flying area, you have an equal chance of summoning a flying mount in a non-flying zone as you do summoning one of your non-flying mounts.
So, that’s the main reason why I use my favorite add on, LiteMount, which does enable to ensure you’re only summoning your preferred non-flying mounts in non-flying areas, but I know not everyone cares to mess with add ons, so I really wish Blizzard would implement that in-game and maybe give people a choice to toggle it off if they do want to summon flying mounts in non-flying zones for some reason.
And of course there’s no telling if Shadowlands will give us many opportunities as BfA did to use non-flying mounts post-pathfinder, so good luck to everyone voting for their favorite, and please Blizzard let all these options eventually be made!

It’s the best mount choice, and it’s nearly dead last in voting… I just can’t believe it…sure, the ancient is cool, but riding around on a giant, “sentient” spellbook as a mage or warlock, hell, even a Paladin or Druid…?
How is this not a clear winner…?
Riding around on a tree, that’s just too cool to pass up.
Warriors and druids are my thing on here, so if my warrior can mount a tree, i’m cool with that.
Nah everyone is voting for the stupid tree. Just what we need, another dumb mount to get stuck in doorways on and wont auto dismount.
Please dont vote for the stupid tree…we have enough dumb ugly mounts that wont auto dismount you when you ride into a building. Nothing better than riding into the ah and u have to click the mount off or on again because its too big for a doorway.
I would Love to have the spelltome mount or the Nerubian Swarmer! My druid wants the wandering ancient! but The first 2 I mentioned the SPELLTOME and the Nerubian Swarmer would be my Top Two! but the Spell tome #1 for sure!!! Thank you for the opportunity to vote on new mounts <3

Why is the Nerubian mount so low in the polls? That thing sounds way cooler than most of the things on that list…

I’m so disappointed in you people! A tree? Think about the animation–a tree is just gonna hobble along like any of the other oversized mounts. The big ones always “Feel” slower than the regular sized mounts. i myself would much rather have a caterpillar! The animation visual has huge potential. + unless we get to ride teldrasil herself, or the tree mount floats on water naturally—then it’s just SUPER boring. IMO OFC.

Not sure why you wouldn’t just make all of them mounts because you already have every one of these models in the game and all of the sitting/riding animations in the game, just add all of them and don’t be lazy, is there a vote option for that?
Wandering Ancient hands down for me. Looks good. Ancient has the most votes so far.
