[UPDATED NOV 7] Dragonflight: Guardians of the Dream Content Update Notes—Now Live!

This might be my issue, I love theory crafting and messing with my talents to try new things, but I believe I overstepped in assuming that everyone would find it at least somewhat interesting, or quick and easy.

They could definitely make it so it just lets you know that things in the tree have changed, but not forcing you to redo your talent tree.

They deliberately made it less fun, because too many people were playing healers. The looked long and hard at the role - across all classes - and made the necessary changes to make healing more frustrating and less interesting. Mission accomplished.

There’s probably no choice in wiping the talents sometimes, considering the times that they completely remove a talent, or reorganize the tree.

I don’t mind doing this type of thing at the beginning of an expac, that’s expected. But when the number of changes to classes every patch equals, or even exceeds, the number of changes at the release of a new expac, it just gets old and frustrating and not fun. I’m a “set it and forget it” kind of person, I guess.

Well, I may be mad about Demo Changes right now, but this just means more experimentation… I’ll have to assure I’m getting as much benefit from Demonic Tyrant now, and in the end, Netherportal’s Pit Lord will need to be tested to see if it’s a viable talent point.
All in all, frustrating, but interesting.

My main Prot Warrior wasnt even mentioned. -.-

*…, which should make healing across the game a more enjoyable experience" for who?? Back to Classic???
As some have stated, too many major changes too often. The reasons are arbitrary. They manipulate us into buying years long subs then change your favorite class to the point you have to relearn it from the ground up mid season or mid expansion. On top of nerfs in between and nearly every patch. Tired of the yoyo. I already have a job. I dont need a 2nd one.

Lol wut?

I offered the “just use the standard set” which equals “set it and forget it” but you said that means you’re not allowed to interact with the talent tree? I’m confused at what you want, you want to interact with the talent tree to suit your needs, but only one time ever? What happens when your needs change, or say you get a new tier set that changes your needs? Just don’t bother even then?

I don’t know what’s so hard to understand here, and I’m not sure why my playstyle and my criticism of Blizzard bother you. But hey, let’s try this one more time:

Take Sub rogue for example: it’s a playstyle I enjoy for solo content. I like the class fantasy. I choose the talents that make it fun for me, and generally they’re different from the build that Blizzard suggests, and once I figure that out, I don’t change it, because I don’t do M+ or raiding, etc. I don’t have any need to change talents, because my needs don’t change. Since I play solo, I don’t generally get tier sets anyway.

I logged in today to see that the talent trees were reset, and I have to start all over spending talents to set it up the way I like to play it, yet again. I got smart this time and took screenshots of the talent tree before the patch, but even so, some talents have been moved, and some don’t seem to be there at all. So it’s figuring it out all over again.

This happens on at least one or two of my characters every patch it seems. It gets old. As I said earlier in the thread in response to someone else, some folks may think it’s fun to tinker with talent trees all the time, but I don’t. I want to set it once in the beginning of the xpac, and forget it.

Anyway, this was feedback for Blizzard, not anyone else. I know I’m probably an outlier in the way I play this game, and therefore my needs and wants don’t matter at all, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t leave feedback.

Honestly, as a Subtlety Rogue, since the start of this patch I’ve felt “energy starved” even with Thistle Tea. What happens if you don’t use Tea? What about those who don’t use Vigor? How the hell are they meant to play properly if they run out of energy after 3 abilities? With the current energy regen and the increase in energy cost for abilities, what, you want us to Autoattack for 5 seconds while the energy regenerates? The hell guys?

Food buffs and Phials disappear once you enter a Battlegrounds is that the new thing? They are kinda expensive when you buy stacks of them and have to renew it every time you enter a BG. It makes sense in rated matches to remove them but this is new in Battlegrounds or a bug?

Also 2 weeks per charge on the Revival Catalyst? Why time-gate so heavily? Assuming bad RNGs on the vault rewards, that’s 2 months before you can get 4-Tier set.
