Many streamers are just ordinary people that do it for fun and not the money. The point of the event is to find a streamer that may not be making money but you enjoy. Then they may be the next streamer that makes money and then you can be a pessimist.
oh cool.
he donated other peoples money to charity.
thatâs a bit different than asking people to donate to individuals who clearly arenât needy.
wow! what a big tax write off!
Ahhh totally stoked that I made the list! Super cute pet too.
No.
The typical âexpertâ streamer makes between $3,000 and $5,000 per month by playing 40 hours per week.
More average streamers will make roughly $250 in ad revenue per 100 subscribers or $3.50 per 1,000 views.
We are already putting money in their pocket by watching the streams.
I understand this is Blizzards way of getting the player base to pay for their advertising⌠sorry bud not going to do it.
As a pet collector, no thanks.
I wish some of my favorite addon creatorsâ Twitch counted for this but apparently they donât. I really have no interest in giving my money to someone whose content I donât enjoy. I like streams but not ones related to video games
I wonder if any of these streamers will be hosting charity streams. At least that way it my money goes to a worthy cause.
Streamers are a charity case though.
Some of these people havent streamed in years. Yet the few streamers I watch are not even eligible. What exactly is the criteria here? I am mildly annoyed that I will have to gift subs in a channel I donât watch to get this.
This is a weird move for sure.
i think itâs great and Iâm glad they picked smaller streamers and not just the ones people already know.
Good to see the selfish side come through not sure how the logic of Visuses comment but oookâŚNobody is bribing anybody they are simply giving you an option to support a streamer whether by subscription or by simply just watching themâŚ
When did you lot become so precious lol and when did you think you became that important either lol
basically costs $10
Who says you have to? Nobody is forcing you to do it. Maybe use will power
Yep of course they are they get the entire amount that you sub to them lol half of that goes to twitch you do realize its just another way for amazon to get more money.
I donât support streamers so hard pass.
Good question.
Incentivizes some of us to donate? Or us buying the pet and the proceeds go to the charity? Its a plus i guess.
And on topic, i am a little late to the party but i am going to start streaming dragonflight on the 28th but sadly, i missed out on becoming eligible for support a stream because im still setting up and getting started.
We are not âearningâ the Ichabod pet - we are purchasing it through a third party.
As adorable as he is the answer oh heck no. If you bring it to the Blizzard store, I will quickly rush to purchase him though.
I made it!! ->> Jennasarusrex
Watching a streamer for 4 hours for a pet/mount/item isnât too bad, but this is just a horrible thing to do. Might as well have put the pet on the Blizz store.
