Iā€™m a firm no thanks as well on this round. Iā€™d have no problem buying the pet for $10 direct, or donating to an actual charity, but im not ā€œdonatingā€ to twitchā€™s profit margin to help them advertise their pointless subscription features by baiting some random stranger with a gift sub to some annoying tween playing a game thats older than they are.

Hopefully blizzard realizes how many people want the pet but will not be paying twitch to get it, and it eventually ends up in the bliz shop.

Wait a minute, this ainā€™t no bribe.

You guys just want me to pay for a pet!

Itā€™s fine not to watch, but you show your ignorance with

this. I havenā€™t seen a single streamer not at least in their 30s. I am sure they may exist, but acting like thatā€™s the majority is absurd.

Hard to believe.

Something something of everyone you meet is a jerk something something.

Maaaaaybe donā€™t go around making stuff up and insulting people and youā€™ll have better reactions? Just a thought.

None of thatā€™s made up but k. Just found it funny he said heā€™s chill then gets personal kekw. Definitely a stream Iā€™ll donate to.

All those streamers making ā€œthousands a dayā€ is something you made up.

ā€¦ because youā€™re making up stuff and tossing insults? That kills chill real quick.

So Iā€™ve painfully and slowly gone through prob close to 100 of those ā€œeligibleā€ streamers and am noticing a trend, who chose these streamers? there are a very large number that literally donā€™t even stream wow and as of yet, none of them are Oceanicā€¦ is there a reason so many of the ā€œchosenā€ slots are taken up by wasted picks? I just want to find a small oceanic creator to gift some subs toā€¦ I know multiple oceanic WoW streamers and they have 100s of more followers than streamers youā€™ve picked and actually stream the damn game, none of them are eligibleā€¦

Same. I just started streaming wow. I have no interest in the money.

I just want to give people the opportunity to see me make a fool of myself in game and to have fun.

Kind of makes you wonder why doesnt it?

I didnt get the chance to sign up because im holding out for launch and getting everything set up, parts coming in.

I have no intention on quitting either.

I have no issue with them choosing streamers but maybe make it an application thing because their ā€œrandomā€ choosing has wasted a lot of slots that could have been used for actual wow streamers, I mean hell one of the streamers they have chosen has never EVER streamed wow (i looked through every vod) and has 70 followers who watch her play POKEMON gamesā€¦ so no one can even gift to her because she doesnā€™t stream in the WoW categoryā€¦ who does that help?

Is it some bot that chooses said streamer?

I mean a small streamer i support made the list and i watch them daily anyway so drop or no drop.

The drops are a plus and icing on the cake but.

I find it odd that blizzard is choosing people who dont stream or streams other games besides wow to be an eligible wow streamer.

I literally follow/sub to no less than 10 oceanic wow streamers (they do play other games but stream wow at least once a week up to once a day) and none of them made the list, not a single oneā€¦ but a PokĆ©mon streamer with less than 100 followers didā€¦ Now I donā€™t know if oceanic streamers just donā€™t get picked or if they literally just asked twitch to randomise a list of 4k streamers from their entire site but thatā€™s crazy that I follow that many oce wow streamers and none of them are eligible for me to get my pet fromā€¦ Iā€™m just not gonna get the pet :frowning:

Itā€™s gotta be some sort of bot picking em but with bad parameters cause there is no way a human looked over that selection.

Iā€™d like the pet, does anyone think it will be on the in-game shop one day?

If you all have money to burn on Twitch subs, might I suggest you spend it buying something for someone in need in your community. Youā€™d be surprised at how many people in need would welcome an additional $10.

Ive only subbed using prime to the streamer i watch daily but ive been looking to follow other small wow streamers as well to give my support.

That is not fair that your oceanic streamers didnt make it.

My understanding is that there were notifications sent out to a bunch of streamers, and they had to manually opt-in to the Support A Streamer campaign. Those streamers also have to be affiliated in order to accept subscriptions in the first place.
