Thank. God.
I don’t want to re-spend the gold on new legendaries.

I didn’t see where we can mail cosmic flux. Is this not planned?
My main currently has 2497 Grateful Offerings. Just started on another Covenant so burned a lot on that armor. Early on in the expac I even used them to buy the books to get memories. Instead of adding more they should have just made the currency account bound.
Wow, not a mention of the encrypted content. Huh.
Well, I hope it’s all worth it. A lot of people have high expectations. Wonder if Blizz can meet them.
Continuing to choose not to allow cross faction in regular BGs is silly.
Unless this includes the ability to party with one person as Merc, which would alleviate concerns. But overall, this does nothing to quell the massive divide between Horde and Alliance in any aspect, and doesn’t help with most things.
Now, if one person in the group can choose to be a Merc and join the opposing side when in a cross faction party, at least there’s that. But if this were the case, I feel like Blizzard would say so.
I still can’t play regular BGs to have fun with my friends if we’re choosing to play opposing factions right now, and not everyone has the time to get a group of people together for rated BGs.
I play this game only for the PvP content at this point, but that’s starting to be less enjoyable. I came back for this, didn’t expect this bad.
Pretty much the worst announcement from Blizzard I’ve seen IMO , this is warcraft correct , not coopcraft. I’m totally against the move to allow cross faction play of any kind. From here its only a short step to quests and storylines that require cross faction. Given my other feelings about the lack of player flying mounts being useable in Dragon flight its become easier to make the decision to cancel my subscription to Wow.
Its pretty sad that Blizzard spent the time putting this out given the host of other things that need to be fixed or fleshed out it appears Blizzard does listen to people and then makes a change to the game that gives the worst possible solution to what they think the issue is, cross faction should have never been around , want to play with friends then to a cross faction character transfer , at this rate Dragonflight is going to be nothing more than a care bear clone , the war will have gone and flying your own dragon with all the elegance of flying on vacuum cleaner will replace the many and varied player mounts. And tradeskills don’t need reworking they just need useful recipes that cant be beaten by random drops on a farming session.
This update isn’t about providing choice its about heading the game towards some sort of hippy heaven
I’m afraid WoW is headed in a direction that i don’t like , ill hang around to see what happens for a few months, but id expect a content update to an expansion to add new questlines and stories to progress along additions to tradeskills and covenants not this bowl of tepid water we’ve been presented with.
OK I’m done with my rant feel free to flame away i wont be back in this thread again
Ud do the same for alliance in horde groups, but apparently the guys at blizzard don’t want two seperate and opposed factions to be the norm in the WorldofCareBear any more. It seems like PC insanity rules at Blizzard and the common sense checks have been disabled this feels like a short but crazy step down the road to all faction cities being sanctuaries for all in game races.
The direction this game is headed is not to my liking sadly.
Why isn’t ICC cross-faction!? In lore, both the alliance and horde worked together under Tirion to defeat him. It was not a faction specific thing.
One of the best things they’ve done.
There is no VTK tool for players you have invited into groups you formed yourself.
Just punched in a three month sub, cheers on the cross faction stuff!
- All Covenant Sanctum feature achievements are now visible and count towards your character’s total achievement points, regardless of which covenant your character currently belongs to. Nonetheless, all characters must belong to a Covenant to earn that Covenant’s specific achievements.
Is this just achievements, or things provided BY achievements? Asking because…
- Reward boxes from Callings now contain twice as many Grateful Offerings, still scaling with your covenant sanctum’s Anima Conductor level.
This is amazing, and will help alts earn all of the covenant cosmetics even faster, thank you…but…
A lot of the cosmetics that need Grateful Offerings are locked behind achievements, rep or other covenant features that require you to do them multiple times to get for different armor types. Does the achievement change above change this at all? Or do we still have to fully unlock the Path of Ascension, Mirror Network, Abomination Factory and Queen’s Conservatory four times each, on different alts with different armor types – or more, if you want all the weapons in addition to the armor?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against doing content to earn rewards AT ALL, but doing the same thing over and over is just…brutal. Especially when there is such disparity in how some of them are even unlocked.
For example, the Night Fae weapons come as an Ensemble that unlock ALL appearances, even those that character can’t use such as the Warglaives, Shield and Bow, simply for reaching Exalted with Marasmius.
Compare that to the Kyrian weapons which require completing all 30 vehicle-style fights on the hardest difficulty possible, and then are still individual purchases…so unless you min-max and plan which classes you take through each of the four times, you’ll have to do it five or six or seven times to make sure you get everything.
nor was i complaining?
So I put in all this time and struggle to get jailers gauntlet layer 8 finished for the achievement and title and now you are giving it away for free by reducing it to layer 4 which is easily soloed???
No class changes? Wow, guess we’re stuck with another year of Holy Paladins being undertuned. You’ve disappointed me.
Wait a second… why is:
Blood Elves can start a quest to earn a new mount, weapon appearance, and the Blood Knight armor set for Blood Elf Paladins by speaking to Liadrin in Oribos. Requirements: Level 60 and Exalted with Silvermoon.
When for the dark iron it’s just:
Dark Iron Dwarves can start a quest to earn a new mount and weapon appearances by speaking to Anvil-Thane Thurgaden in Shadowforge City, Blackrock Depths (accessed via Mole Machine). Requirements: Level 50.
Emphasis mine…
This is perfidy!
P. S.:
Why is this happening before all the races that haven’t gotten their heritage armor still haven’t gotten it!
Gunship battle.
They literally answered this the day of the 9.2.5 announcement and cross faction play.
This functionality will also apply to legacy instances, and is available at all levels, though there will be several older instances that cross-faction parties cannot enter, at least for now: Battle of Dazar’alor, Trial of the Crusader, Icecrown Citadel (remember that Gunship Battle?), and a handful of others that similarly have extensive faction-specific components that will have to be reworked to support cross-faction parties.
