This is literally the problem dude. What you want is the exact reason to get rid of them - they break the balance of scaled content.
This content is supposed to be “gear agnostic”, that is to say, what you bring shouldn’t really matter too much. Legiondaries were breaking that, and corruptions are mega-breaking that. They’re removing legiondaries and corruptions. Essences are still going to be OP and I think that ideally essences and azerite should be removed as well, but if they get the WoD ring treatment and just get obliterated by the nerf hammer when scaled below BFA that’s probably good enough.
No, I didn’t play in Vanilla. I started in Legion. They didn’t just update the mounts because they were still the same. You just couldn’t get them anymore.
Essences will still be usable, just not in Shadowlands. They aren’t removing all the essences, just rank 4. Removing all of them would be even worse.
well bro, what i want or what you want really matters because the game is for us. new players can still enjoy the game as it is. very old players (like me) would really like to have the gear/items or others still usable because we earned it.
if you dont like it, dont play it.
Or Blizzard can remove them so they don’t ruin an experience that is predominantly consumed in a queued format.
I agree with you. Yet i won’t even complain if Blizzard introduce some additional obstacle or preriquisites to Mage Tower to compensate the fact it would be easier to complete it now. Just give us hope to get something we’re ready to put effort investment.
Removing specific content rewards after a specific time simply justify why people stop paying subs after a specific time!

The answer was revealed in one of the dev interviews. Right now they don’t plan for you to be able to solo que for these - the dev who was interviewed suggested using level sync with lower level people to complete these post SL launch

2400 is the extreme outlier, players always get stronger even for the current tier. Mythic bosses just stay the same best and almost always get weaker.
Rank 4 should have realistically been Duelist.

Can we have Conflict & Strife requirement for title removed or nerfed? There’s no way a majority of players are going to hit 2400 lol. I dont see why we need to have pvp rating for a title relating to the planet.
Imagine Blizzard not needing to make this post at all because they don’t need to ever remove content…

Kind of a statement of how bad this expansion has been that I read this list and really don’t care about anything that’s disappearing. First time that’s happened.
I’m so sick of this grind-a-thon that’s BFA I’ll just be glad to see its gone. Here’s hoping someone else designed the next one.

This is part of my long list of why i wont be in sl or tech by this monday. Sad part is im not having any second thoughts or regrets, its gotten to where i feel relieved to leave. Tech already did on 5th just passin time on forums till i get the “you need sub time to post” message.

you’re going to compare that title to scarab lord? come on… rank 4 essences are tied to RNG and some are gated behind some crazy grinds (C&S r4 2.4k rating)
at least the journey through scarab lord questline was interesting and made sense this one is just a grind and win on their casino nothing else.

I got a answer to all the people complaining. Play the game next time. And for that title and mount. That stuff isn’t for normal players. Like really why is it At the end of every expansion these players pop up and start crying?
And to you players crying about them “removing content” how about you actually play and put effort in. We all know your plan is to wait like a expansion later and steam roll old content that you couldn’t get when it was current.
Please god, let it just end NOW.
Mark my words, if Shadowland is anything resembling of BFA, World (of warcraft) will end!

big frikkin deal…, i have 120 mounts so far. From the time a new expansion is been announced everything else is a waste of time. Time to stop the sub and wait for next expansion. It’s NOT like our legendary, armor or weapons will scale to next expansion like other games do. Shame if you ask me to loose all this work on azerite just to replace it with …anima my @$$.
