Well, I was able to snag the Hearthsteed and got a quest in the mail. Now to figure out where the bosses are.
The Ominous Portal showed up in Valdrakken for a few seconds, but then disappeared. MC Farala is there now though and you can play on the hearthstone board (2 players at a time tho)
I am not upset, this feels more like not meeting the standards by BLizzard.
I’ve had mine since 2005. What incompetence is going on with an event that only JUST started and we don’t know how it’ll go just yet?
Can we give it a day before we call a brand new event “incompetent” or “underperforming,” instead of complaining about it before it started? LOL

Putting this here since I don’t believe it merits creating a bug thread, but the item “Hearthstone Card: Charged Devilsaur” has the default “?” icon instead of its own. 
Yeah, I saw that as well. When I took it out of the pack though it changed to a card icon.
I mean you’re doing the same conduct by lecturing people on how they are supposed to feel/dismissing the importance it may be for them while calling others pretentious for having personal standards. Be better at being passive aggressive because that’s some pretty weak stuff

This. Very much this. I don’t care so much about FOMO-RNG (which still stings a little, admittedly) as them putting a very short timespan on an event they hyped up as being a big, celebratory feature that was going to occur in this patch, then announcing an incredibly extended maintenance that will occur during this event.

No we cannot give it a day, the whole event is there for a week. Some people do not have that much time. This is something that has to be considered for all not for only a few ppl, like as always Blizzard is doing.
