The alliance on Moonguard seem to view the event locations are placed in their favor and even state that it’s no secret to them the horde always get the short end of event sticks. Wish I screenshotted that general chat message this morning, It’s cached in my elephant mod though.
This whole thing is really confusing. No indicator in game where it’s going to spawn. Stood in Val this morning and nothing happened. Why is this event only a week when the first day was full of bugs and the second day is all day maintenance? Please extend this for at least two weeks at a minimum.

I think I saw them turn the sharding up in real time in Durotar. I was at the portal location and suddenly 50+% of the people standing around just phased out of existence and maybe a handful phased in. There were like 40% fewer people hanging out, though.
I keep thinking about great it’d be if they’d just added NPCs playing Hearthstone to a few taverns around the game world where you could go play dumbed down Hearthstone matches in a format similar to pet battles, and you had to travel around beating NPCs to collect cards, similar to the Gwent system in The Witcher 3. Tie most of the rewards to that process and make it a yearly event during Hearthstone’s anniversary if you don’t want to just leave them up year-round.

1). Make all 3 portals spawn at the same time.
2). Make the boss always drop one of the cards, mogs, pet, etc. The wild cards as a drop are a waste.
3). Maybe add some bad luck protection so players can 100% this before end of week.

Wait so all you have to do is log into hearthstone to get the mount in world of warcraft if I am reading this correctly.
ALso, can you log into the phone version. It’s not letting me on pc. I have the original hearthsteed mount to from way back when. And it isnt loading the game on pc. I click play and it just fades back and cancels out. Not sure what is happening.
Yes to get one of the mounts …there is also a mount that drops from boss Dr Doom that comes out of the portals in either Org…Val or SW…not sure if phone ver will work…but I do know you need to log into hearthstone game and click though the new stuff there till you get the pop up in HS that says you’ve got a mount in WoW waiting on you…then log into WoW and go to your mount tab and open up the box there.
for love of your chosen deity … please make these spawn in sw, org and vald at same time.

I managed to get all the cosmetics somehow but still it took me nearly a whole day for this.
Only 6 cards left but i guess that i will have them when farming the bag for my alts.
Even if i will probably have everything, i still think that this event shouldn’t be on RNG.

Low-pop server might be the best solution for the moment.
Last night I logged on to my 22 orc warrior on Moon guard and went to the portal area. There were only 4 of us there when the portal spawned. Thankfully the boss and helpers were scaled, so we still managed to clear the event with just the 4 of us.
I’m not sure if it would be something one could solo if they were the only one there at portal time, but having only a few folks was a refreshing change from my first couple of tries on alliance side there.
Tonight I’ll give the SW side a try with one of my alliance alts on WrA and see if that’s any better; failing that I do have a few alts on other low pop servers to try.
You forgot lagged out events.

Every time it has been the Durotar location I have been unable to loot the boss due to tagging/lag issues. Even in a full raid group. It’s awful.
Have all 3 locations spawn a portal please so that the crowds are split up and the servers aren’t choking every hour.
It is a simple solution that would go a long way in helping people actually participate in and enjoy this event.

Just did the one near Org and OMG the lag…and again I got killed before I could get my druid healed …just too many people in that spot…the other two spots are not as laggy as that one near Org…I wish they would just have the damn portals up at all 3 same time that way it would split up these damn large groups…

Since maintenance I’ve tagged the boss, multiple hits, on 2 separate encounters, and both times had no option to loot anything. Did they change it so you can’t farm loot on 1 character anymore?

I’m having the same issue.
Killed Dr.Boom twice and I can’t loot him. 
It’s hard to say since you aren’t always guaranteed loot, especially if you stack vendor cards. I think we’ll need more evidence. I’ve gone 3-4 at least without actually seeing anything before maintenance before I actually got a drop. My single kill on this guy today so far netted me a blue card. I will hit up the next one as well and see what happens.
Not that I know now I have done it in Val…SW and Org but on different characters though…I keep mine parked at the spots and just switch…are you sure your putting a tag on Dr Doom now?

Did you die? and release before he was dead? and are you sure your getting a tag on him the last one in Org was crazy crazy with lag and my horde druid died before I could get in a healing spell…
