I think they only have like 2 QA testers with xbox controllers and they only play alliance side, horde side constantly seems to get the short end of the events stick.
SW just had 3 back to back spawns within 10 min of eachother on our server, top of the hour came and went and nothing in valdrakken or orgrimmar.
Just wait until 10.2.6.

This secret take chances stuff sounds cool on twitter, but in practice we get events like this that don’t work.
its almost like nobody knows what’s going on and they don’t know how to develop a decent game anymore

I believe that was the intention. I had been finding groups up on the hour approx. This event should have had more testing imho.

Portal timer got to 4 seconds, restarted to 5 minutes, then no timer. Left group, can’t leave group, can’t log out.

heheh ok after counting down, nothing happened and the portal reset; now it doesn’t even show a countdown.
People are spamming all kinds of AoE but nothing is happening and that jumped the lag up hugely.
OH by the way, using the toy “eyes for you only” does kinda help reduce the people avatar clutter a bit. Does nothing about the lag though.
They need to disallow ground-targeted AoE in the event area like they ban mounts.
The amount of server lag people are causing by spamming Rain of Fire, Blizzard, etc isn’t helping.
theres about a billion barrages going on right now for about 10 minutes straight, lol
they need to disable toys in the area too.

It’s probably going to be better to just wait a day or two so this gets a bit less frustrating.
It sure should of …how this got out of their QA dept is beyond me …guess they let go the QA dept now…
