[Updated 10/6] Get in the Mix with Legion Remix Rewards

Legion Remix opens up opportunities to add a variety of new and returning items to your collection along with new Housing decor you can collect and use once Housing goes live in the Midnight expansion. To help you set your sights on the items you want most, we’ve rounded up a complete list of how and where to get them.

I hope the rewards are reasonable time sinks and not ensembles seperated into individual components artificially blowing up the time we need to collect all the shiny pixels that will be no longer avaliable for the sole reason of driving psychological stress via FOMO.

Huh, housing locked behind achievements that takes longer than 3-4 months to achieve. youch!

oh cant wait to get the

Bulwark of Mannaorth Shield Transmog

Hang on, I’m a bit worried about the ‘buy duplicates of decor for bronze’ thing.

What happens when Remix ends and we eventually decide we want a few more copies of one of the items? Will they be impossible to purchase, or are we getting a vendor in the live game that sells them for gold?

I would have rather had timewarped badges as an excess bronze sink than needing to try to guess how many of each decor item I could ever want into the future.

So I guess the total bronze needed to collect everything is … um … infinite?

( this housing decor stack-collecting is going to require me to make some internal adjustments/limits )

I am already exalted with all the Legion Faction Reps other 1, which is the PVP one …which I didn’t care to do cause of my Health issues…are they saying we have to go into Legion Remix and earn all those reps again to Exalted if we want to buy those items listed for each faction we earned Exalted with?

Legion reps aren’t yet warband-wide, so I’m assuming everything will likely have to be ground out anew within the remix.

(I want to say comforting things about the pace of rep being accelerated, but I’m not sure there’s actually any justification to my optimism about that)

Well if that is the case they can have their Legion stuff I am not busting my butt again even if its faster to get all those Faction Reps up too Exalted again, once was enough for me.

I would tend to think there will be a many players feel the same about this like I do…they claim achievements are retort active and the decors will be awarded to us when Midnight goes so why can’t the same be done for all Factions reps now…only reason I will play Legion Remix is to make sure I got all the pets and mounts and toys…I think I do but not full sure yet…

  1. the amount of required bronze is INSANE.
  2. Still missing what, exactly, the achievements consists of.

The amount of bronze earned is also insane.

Purchasing Raid ensembles now rewards all difficulty variations (Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic.)

Just to clarify, each armor set now only has one token that will unlock all difficulties, correct? And that token costs 30k bronze.

Wanted to make sure it’s been changed so players who don’t know about the update don’t end up purchasing four different variants for 20k each and wasting 50k bronze as a result.

I have a question about the change on Raid Ensembles: Great change overall, but I’ve noticed the Trial of Valor sets are not listed on the vendor prices.

You could purchase the LFR through Heroic versions of the Trial of Valor (Chosen Dead) sets with Bronze, but with the 30k prices, I’m assuming you’re repurposing the Mythic raid vendor to be the one selling the unified raid ensembles.

My question is, is the only way to obtain the Trial of Valor ensembles now, to complete the Deathless achievements to unlock the Mythic ensembles, or will the Heroic and below ensembles be added somewhere else?

Thanks for your time

Wait, why would we need to buy “duplicates” of housing decor that are earned via achievements? Are they not added to an account-wide “housing appearances” tab?

The way its sounding, and I don’t know, is that folks are not buying appearances, they’re buying things. Like you get a spooky chest of drawers, you get a single chest of drawers. If you want another one, you have to buy another one.

It’s not transmog, its items.

So, if you want 10 Ony heads mounted in your home, you’ll need to buy 10 of 'em.

Hmm, not at all how I thought it was going to work :frowning:

If I get a piece of decor as a boss drop, I’ll have to farm it up again if I want a second one, or pay someone to craft another corner hutch, etc.?

I’d have to go back through their announcements, but is there a warning like, “if you place this here now, it’s ‘soulbound’” (or the like)?

Luxuria will certainly be happy with this

My understanding is that housing decor has a count as if it was a bank of inventory you are drawing from while decorating. You can only use as many copies of an item as decorations in your house as your count of that decor in your collection.

So even where you unlock a decoration from an achievement, you may end up needing to buy a bunch of extra copies of it from a vendor to complete your decorating.

(edit: oops, a little slow replying, sorry for duplicate info)

Pretty much if you did balance of power, collected the available artifact skins, and did max rep gains really no need to play Lemix aside from the unique items they have. Im going to focus on mounts and mog only if possible. I have no interest in player housing so that should free up some bronze.

Correct, you have to collect as many as you want to use. Drops will have a 100% drop rate, at least.
