check your beta opt-in preferences ASAP… they added a preference for WOW classic in the past several days… so even if you are opted in for WOW beta’s you are NOT opted in for the WOW CLASSIC beta.

They added it yesterday…the same day they told us about it.
Also, they said they were selecting people with regular Warcraft checked off for this beta.

Im going to be honest with you… I sat on these forums all day yesterday and had absolutely no idea and was not told by anyone that they updated it. Just spreading the news to those who have not yet heard.

Ok so you read the title. Did you bother to read the actual announcement?
No… not everyone read their official announcement post on their website. I came onto the forums yesterday and saw people spamming about Layering and August 27th. Why would I click on a launch announcement when 5 seconds after coming onto the forums I already know the release date without having read the post?
EDIT - Just went and read the post on the forums… the TOP COMMENT is from someone reminding everyone to update their beta opt in. Guess how many upvotes that comment has… 207… yep IM SURE EVERYONE CLICKED ON THE LINK AND READ THE POST LMFAO
Probably a good way to get information is to read the source of it. Hope that helps.

totally agree, not saying that I shouldn’t have read it. But having said that I think that the title of the post was poor, and on top of that… why not just make a forum post about the launch of the game and the beta information separately? idk just poor dispersion of information for classic all around.

If I have Wow checked for beta, I mean any Wow betas.
So don’t blame the OP:
If they have Wow classic SEPARATE, with it having to be CHECKED, there is a REASON. So my guess is that if you are a rank and file player, not being someone special, that it is probably a good idea to have that checked.
