Personal wish list.
I think its time warrior gets brought up to modern standards. The worst cleave in the game from a class that used to be all about cleave, a Snare on the GCD that hits for nothing is the lowest % slow in the game thats applied by actually pressing a button especially when it has no % chance root attached, A defensive stance to make up for the fact the class is overall too squishy that nerfs its dmg to be in, Capstone talents that might as well not exist, worst team utility among classes and worst self-healing.
- Give warrior a passive snare and get rid of hamstring or rework hamstring entirely.’
- Give warrior a Capstone it can be proud of, people keep asking for lust or Brez, id be happy with a banner for Mastery thats just as impactful as lust but different.
- Uncap more of warriors cleave or make it the best 5 and under target killer bar none. Sweeping strikes can be 100% of dmg at this point for starters and so can fury warriors cleave buff.
- Bring back more ways to apply Colossus Smash for arms, SL had a legendary that caused Mortal Strike to sometimes apply it for 6 seconds. Bring that back.
- Significantly buff Ignore pain and Second Wind.
- Bitter Immunity is such a rug pull, why is this a 3min CD? that doesnt remove magic or bleeds?!?! just increase impending victory healing by 20% and have this node do the minor removals.
- Can warrior get some form of movement speed? “fast footwork, movement speed increased by 5%. Additionally, when you critical strike gain 20% movement speed for 5 seconds.” worst snare in the game + no movement outside of legit going towards your target outside of leap.
- Instead of 2 different nodes that both reset Mortal Strike can we get one of those made to have Mortal strike hit twice sometimes? This can also affect Cleave.
- idc what you do with Rend just keep your bleed playstyles away from me.
- Why is sweeping strikes still a press do nothing global when you reworked this out of every other class and admitted you didnt like those kinds of CDs?
Thats what i have so far, feel free to add more, i may not be right on some of this stuff, idc, point stands warrior needs a rework and it keeps getting neglected, Spriest and DK are on their what 2nd or 3rd? Shaman got one, Druid got some, every hunter dps spec is in the top 10 dps list right now…and so on. Please fix.

also someone please correct me if im wrong but i am pretty sure Fury warrior is one of if not the only spec with THREE 2-points stat nodes in our spec tree. And to top it off, all 3 of them are in the capstones section of the tree. But we end up taking them anyway because our capstones are all bad.
Please get rid of Torments we need something else
Avatar is piss Roar is piss Spear is piss
Onslaught is piss Odyns is piss
Please also just get rid of Single Minded Fury altogether no clue why its still in the tree.

Oh like banners from MoP, I almost forgot about those. In MoP we could use “intervene” on them too, right?
This would be a great time for Blizzard to play with that idea again imo.
Cause we need something to bring to the group, and banners fit well in the Warrior fantasy (they care alot more about this than class balance for what I heard).
If they just stop removing all the fun stuff then we’d be perfectly satisfied.
Making SMF useless, bad idea. Keeping it in the talent pool, worse idea.
Getting rid of Gladiator Stance, bad idea.
Getting rid of Annihilator, bad idea.
Bake Annihilator into what SMF has already.
Bring back Gladiator Stance, or make it its own talent tree and have it be a support. Shouts and banners.

I don’t want banners… If I’m going to play a totem class I’ll play a shaman.
I’ve always been an advocate of lust for warriors. Hell, at this point replace rally with a lust and we’d be in a decent spot utility wise.
I’ve heard people say “or a brez” but honestly I don’t see how that would fit in with class fantasy.

Odyn can bring his warriors back from the dead, just have it be like…“Shout of the All-Father” or something.

Agreed, Banners need to stay dead. They aren’t fun at all.
Debuffing/Buffing shouts however are a little different as they enable a way to provide utility for a situation without it being tied to a ground object that can be killed.

maldraxxis mastery buff banner from SL was tied to the warrior on their back and not killable or on the ground.
That was also god awful due to people thinking they were entitled to your cooldown.
The amount of incessant crying that came from that ability not being used when casters wanted you to use it was hilariously annoying.

before you even finished responding i knew what your counter was going to be and i dont care for this argument that its “not your own cd” it buffs you all the same, priests have had PI forever, its a group CD used in the same vein as lust. your argument works exactly the same on lust, but its simply a longer CD. its also a very 1% argument to make that people actually cared when it got used. Most of the annoyance came from groups wanting you to have it so you couldnt pick other covenant choices, which is no longer the case. So i firmly reject this close minded argument.
it puts warrior in the “take for X utility” camp that everyones crying for it to get into. Lust would be seen no differently.
Huh? PI also equally needs to be removed from the game. It provides nothing but nerfs towards the top end that get boosted even further by it’s use while also skewing balance between specs to look worse than it actually is. PI also breeds entitled behaviour from those who think they are owed it.
You also say it’s a 1% issue like that doesn’t trickle down into the toxic casual cesspool where majority of this drama unfolds.
Nobody is asking for offensive utility to be added to bring a warrior to keys, people are asking for things centred around crowd control, enrage steals etc.
Not a cooldown that doesn’t line up with our 90s cadence of cooldowns that others will think they’re entitled to it because it’s a larger increase for them than you the user.
Bloodlust is also an entirely different concept. It’s a massive groupwide buff with a limit of 1 use per fight so the raid uses it at the best time overall for throughput in damage or healing in a set 40minute window.

most of these must come from a PvP standpoint, because otherwise some of these abilities that are being suggested are way to OP or not really needed

The passive snare for sure. I haven’t PVP’d in a long time, as it’s pretty much the trash can of WoW balance wise.
Did you play Shadowlands? Anyone that played banner back then was basically turned into a buff bot. Numerous memes came out (mainly druids) screaming for the banner for their cool down windows. A lot of us never bothered with Maldraxxus solely because it was that bad.
P.S. Habs suck. lol

Most posts are literally asking for lust or Brez not sure where your getting this.
No one said it had to be the exact SL banner from SL, I brought it up because you said banners were killable and stuck on the ground and I gave you an example that proved you wrong about that concept.
It’s absolutely not, every single time you would want lust, is the exact kind of situation you would want to pop a banner of this type for the exact same reasons you outlined here. Also again it could be made into a group wide buff. Just mastery>haste.
They just need to tinker with what we have:
Condense some of node to free up talents.
Remove min range for charge.
Actually, make it hard to break fears so intimation shout is viable CC. Even with talent its currently crap.
Buff Commanding shout again so it’s a proper defensive again.
Give us a battle rez shout.
Move any 5-target cap diminished to 8.
Get rid of all spells that drop something on ground. Literally makes no sense for a non-magic class to throw a magic spear or spinning weapon on ground. Change to the following, instead of spear you strike your current weapon into your opponent pinning them so the visual is in the ground of whatever you currently use and then you pull out a default or whatever weapon in your bag you want like demo lock felguard weapon change and you attack with that for duration of the attack.
Ravager just get rid of it all together and make it a shout that does damage overtime around you like a pulsing AOE.
Throw weapon/mighty throw I rather it be a cleave that you swipe a chunk out of ground to hit your opponent from afar.
Please no, it’s flat out awful gameplay in MoP classic right now and having that come in with charge being rotational in Retail would be silly. The fact that they even made this change still boggles my mind using your gap closer rotationally on cooldown to generate resources is cringe.
Idk about that one, sure it’s kinda annoying if it gets stuck on 3d elements on the ceiling that happen to be out of view on your camera but you mouse is hovering over a portion on the ground that’s directly lines up with it. But with the advent of @player and @cursor a lot of those problems are fixed to a degree, skills like Ravager can easily be set-up in an @player macro and perform at 99% efficiency. @cursor covers the rest of the abilities where you want to control where you send the ability. I don’t believe that Champion’s Spear is as bad as people make it out to be unless they’ve got no awareness at all of where they keep their mouse pointer located when they’re playing.
Capped specs definitely need to be uncapped and a uniform 5/8+ dropoff needs to be sorted out across the board.
I use macro for ravager etc. I just thematically don’t think it makes sense for a warrior class.
I would like some more interesting and visceral animations.
Far as charge I actually loved MOP class design for almost every spec lol. These were the Ghost crawler days, and I still remember them fondly.
Maybe I need to actually jump on MOP PTR though to more properly jog my memory.
The baseline of MoP warrior is still there and it’s quite fun to play still I can definitely see some elements that would work well in being added back into the Retail variant of Warrior in the removal of Rend and having Deep Wounds as your DoT effect that doesn’t require much thought of upkeep.
I’m not too keen on how low overpower is on the APL compared to slam within CS windows. Feels weird having so many stacks sitting there wasted at times.
Haste feels like a dead state mostly right now as it doesn’t do anything outside of the breakpoint where you get an extra GCD within your CS which won’t come into play until later tier gearing aspects since Crit/Mastery fuel more to the spec.
Haste didn’t effect ability CDs or compress bladestorm back then and it shows just how much value this provided to the class since it’s introduction in Legion.
Going back to Shouts/Berserker Rage being additional rage generators/enrage applicators is kinda weird, definitely feels like bloat that i’m not missing on retail.
Sweeping Strikes being an oGCD is fine, but it also costing rage and Arms’ AoE mostly being centred around slam use while SS is up with such a small range of effect can be tedius.
Some interesting changes I’ve noticed outside of min range charge being removed for Arms only (prot doesn’t have this removed idk about fury) is that Shattering throw is instant in PvE instances so it being a 20% armour reduction for the group makes it less annoying to have to precast it on the pull, but also using it on the pull when you’ve got a CS ready anyway it ends up being more of a raid cooldown than a your cooldown situation as you’d ideally want to press it when CS expires but you’d want to throw it on pull for your other phys dps on their openers where it’ll end up more damage for them, but less for you.
i concur with Greìl. Charge should not be used in rotation and should keep its min range.

Thank you for your contribution. You a groupie or something?
Now I am going to double down on charge being added to the rotation.
I just jumped on PTR and omg it’s like butter.
Just feels so natural as part of the rotation.
And if the mob is moving you just going to close the GAP anyway without having to walk forward.
Just feels amazing. Much better talent design.
