i have tried every fix i could find, ive been at this almost all day
ive cleared caches, rebooted several times, went through my processes closing them to see if it would start, reinstalling the launcher, running the launcher in admin, and the update agent in admin. is there any way to fix this at all?
Well , i am not a tech , but i can point out a couple things. Sometimes when i click on the cogwheel next to the play button and select options/scan and repair, it restarts the update ui and it finishes.
Also sometimes simply clicking pause and restarting the downloader ui makes it restart and finish.
But i will point out that my launcher page said it needed permission for Bnet to make changes to my program and THEN the new battlenet app loaded.
I am not sure what exactly is causing your problem , but if you weren’t prompted for allowance like I was, you are probably on the old launcher window.
Mine changed at approximately 4:30 pm EST us time today.

i have had this issue tonight and in the past. its very annoying. i think it is because another DL is qued and the servers on clogged on their end. just give it some time.

managed to fix it by running disk cleanup and resetting msinfo32
