Update? something is wrong

I came out of wow and it had a update waiting and started it. It gets to the file manifest and stops. Restarting the update it gets to the same point and spits back an error. The error is about repairing the game. This did not help the process. It is like the update was not complete and I cannot restart the game until the update process is complete.

I’m having the exact same issue, I’ve uninstalled the game and battle.net entirely and still having this issue.

Also having this issue. Scanned, Repaired, Uninstalled, reinstalled. My second computer is fine but this one is just coming back with BLZBNTAGT00000840 as the error. Feed back would be appreciated plz

edit: i have also turned off and even uninstalled my Mcafee.

I used to have this problem all the time. When I get the error message, all I do is open task manager and delete the wow voice proxy process. Then I click the update button and everything is fine.

After raid last night i saw an update starting. Today i go to log in and i get an INSTALL GAME sign. It says it cannot locate the game on my comp . So i manually locate the game and now it says YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CORRECT VERSION OF THE GAME INSTALLED. ok i have heroic AOTC so we all know that is the correct version of the game. I put in tickets but we all know that they will not get back to me until WHEN. FUNNY i have been paying them for the correct version of the game for as long as this expansion has been out. So at this point i AM just getting mad.

I don’t see any process to end. I play the game installed on my SSD but keep a backup of the game on my hard drive. I restored the files from the hard drive (which was a fully working version a few months ago), still get the error. Reinstall battle.net launcher, not working. Completely uninstall and redownload the entire game from scratch, still get the error. Blizz dun goofed.

Blizzard dun more than goofed and i am mad and frustrated although neither of them help at all…UGH

I bypassed battlenet and used the .exe and got into the game. ugh.
