Update Quest tracker

So as of the moment they announced player housing and rewards from old content, i jumped onto my main and went back to eastern kingdom and kalimdor and started doing every quest, every rep (i also just want every possible tabard in my bank). anyway, i found an addon that has saved me from going crazy. its an addon called “BtWQuests” it tracks every quest for every zone. Blizzards in game tracker ONLY tracks campaign quests. BtWQuests tracks every quest and even makes a tomtom (its different but works the same) arrow to point you to the missing quest for that zone. I think and hope blizzard uses this addon as an example for what to do when they remove addons and make their own in game “addons”. because i have spent so much time flying over zones to make sure no exclamation marks are showing. and even then going to major cities to make sure nothing is connected to a major city quest. yes i have almost all these things done already on my achievement tab, but not on my character. and if i understand housing decor correctly, blizzard wants to make everything actually account wide, yet i have little faith it will be what i think it should be.

how many of us have exalted with netherwing in our achievement tab but not on the character you are maining? do you even know where that character is that has that achievement? maybe you do, i didnt. so even though my achievement tab says im exalted with all these reps, buying any item on my main is impossible because that specific character does not have the reputation to purchase from that rep. so anyway, im grinding out everythign again, and its gone pretty well, ill probably be an expansion behind when housing comes out (like missing some quests from dragonflight). but i hope blizzard uses this BtWQuests addon to improve the questing experience for ensuring we get everything possible for housing. especially because i am tired of using sites like wowhead to figure out what quest im missing in a game. dont get me started on wowhead destroys the game. we will just leave it at i want everything in game, no outside sources.

A lot of words to say and I agree BtW quest add on is great. I use it to find quest I am missing since blizzard default quest UI only wants you to do current quests.

Yes you can turn on low level tracking but it dims the old quests so much that I still can’t find them on the map.

If I have low level quest tracking turned on it should be just as bright and highlighted as current quests imho.

I do because I have another cute little addon called Rephub. It keeps track of reputations across my account. Its lightweight and very easy to use and view.

Using your Netherwing example, I can see I have two characters at Exalted, one at Revered and one at Friendly. It also tells me the zone, the location of the quartermaster and how to farm it. Damned useful.

Pro Tip: Download “All The Things”

It’s a collector’s dream, tells you what you are missing and where to find it and then tracks your progress across the game showing completion percentages. Also, once you have “collected” the appearance by selling, or wearing the item, it does not have to live in your bank. You can trash it. The appearance is now in your Mog tab (unless there is a random tabard which requires wearing since it can’t be mogged).
