Hi Everyone, I made a post at the start of TWW about looking for a guild and that post was very helpful. This time I am making a similar post about looking for a 3K+ rated group for M+. During my first season (TWW S1), I decided to go for 2.5K rating for the achievement and was successful. This season (TWW S2), I recently achieved 3K rating and would like to go for an M+ title. I accomplished both goals exclusively through PUGs and thought the experience was easy. However, my understanding is…

I have had the opportunity to meet several people. However, I was at 3K rating when I made my original post and I am now at 3.4K rating. The climb from 3K to 3.4K rating still felt easy so I am looking for players around 3.4K rating or higher.

In terms of team composition, a lot of sources have recommended copying the team (i.e. Tank Druid, Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Healer Monk). I do not know much about this team but they made it to the group stages of the MDI tournament.

I am not opposed to playing a similar composition but my understanding is that those players have played together for multiple seasons and that is an important factor in their success. Hence, I do not want to limit myself to copying this playstyle simply because I watched it during a competition.

In terms of team mindset, I am looking for people that are mature and in their late 20s to early 30s. As I mentioned in my earlier post, I believe it is important for your time to be respected and I want my time to be respected too.

Also, it is important for you to be a critical thinker. We can easily copy what the best teams are doing but I feel like it will be difficult for us to surpass those teams.

This does not mean reinventing the wheel but rather understanding the strategy the best teams are using and their rationale (i.e. the tradeoffs between different routes, optimizing routes via snap-pulling mobs and cooldown management, etc.).

In other team-based games (i.e. “League of Legends”), I tend to be the shot-caller during the match. However, I am looking for players that are able to form opinions and can defend those opinions in a socially adept manner (i.e. high emotional intelligence). If you have made it to ~3.5K+ rating, you are going to know your class much better than anyone else on the team.
