I understand not rendering Classic in Unreal graphics at first due to not knowing how much of a hit Classic would be. But now that its massively popular can we get updated graphics on Classic WoW? Not that the graphics are stopping me from enjoying the experience… i just think it would snatch peoples attention soooooooo much more.

Classic is one of the only 15 year old games where the graphics aged extremely well.
I wish that the gear had higher resolution textures to go with the higher resolution displays, but they are high enough unless you zoom in to like a foot away from your character.

But Classic does have updated graphics… it’s running on legion software. The original vanilla was 720p since 1080p wasn’t the standard yet.

It already has better graphics than vanilla.
Just look in the video settings, makes it pretty obvious.

Why do you feel the graphics need to “snatch attention”? One of the issues with the modern game is that the overly polished candy crush eye candy actually makes many people turned off.
Good gameplay stands on it’s own.

Perhaps Classic is, as you say, massively popular because of the faithful adherence to the original graphics.

I mean you can already toggle off classic stuff anyways in the interface so i mean it wouldnt even be all that hard to render it in unreal. And most peoples problem with retail is that its steaming hot garbage not that it looks nice are you dumb? Yeah it holds up nice but you cannot tell me you rather watch a youtube video in 720p rather than 1080p. Youre blinded by your love of classic by saying that dumb***ery. Again as i said you illiterate swines. I DONT HAVE AN ISSUE with the OG graphics. I just think more people would be interested in High Res version of classic. Also i was like 7 years old when classic was around so no dip i didnt play it. Hence why im loving the experience. Ffs boomers just gotta insult everything they see huh?

Assuming you mean new models. Noty. I just like the old models so much more and im pretty sure most others playing feel the same way.
Like new models dont even resemble old models. They make you look weird and remove features. Who would want to lose bits of their face?

I think new character models should be toggleable like they are in retail.
Doesn’t effect anyone but the person playing, and it’d be cake to impliment.
