Thank you for the, well, somewhat… angry… response.
No one asked for a merged travel form. It’s convenient, but sometimes streamlining for its own sake (as much as I’ve principally supported it as opposed to bloat) removes player agency in customization. Earning the forms back in the day and them having separate buttons can be kept as a relic, and the modern version can be the default.
As for showing the armor, it’s already a thing for Shadow Priests.
Not everyone likes Moonkin forms, and not everyone likes being all Blue either. Glyph of Stars used to be more translucent in MoP. There was no reason to change it other than to “visually scream to the other players that you’re looking at a Moonkin”… Wouldn’t spell visuals and an orange name plate be enough to do that though?
As replacement, dropping stars, a moon overhead or even partial glow effects could be put in if need be.
We already have Red or Fel fires for Destruction Warlocks. Going by armor type, weapon, plates, names, and spell animations should suffice. I’m not arguing for the removal of Moonkin Form as in the other recent thread, since that would imply changing how Druids function mechanically, rotationally, and situationally in PvP as well…
We’re talking about visuals here. Cosmetics is one of the biggest endgame motivators, it might as well be considered a core pillar of how MMOs operate. WoW seems to be the only game that has forgotten this, whereas other games COPIED WoW’s past reward systems to be successful.
I’m not trying to “impress” anyone… though, yes, being able to see my own transmog, and sometimes just see myself in combat would be nice for both environmental consistency (which can mean the difference in a fight), and costumization acknowledgement by the game systems (the lack of which is ironically outdated).
That last little comment honestly makes me think you don’t like Balance Druids out of some weird, petty spite…
There’s no barring to improving WoW immersion, besides pure stubbornness I don’t understand.
