Upcoming PvP changes - April 7th restarts

We’re working on a series of hotfixes to adjust class balance. We currently plan to implement the following changes with weekly maintenance (the morning of April 7th in this region):

Classes

• Demon Hunter
• Havoc
  • Fel Eruption now has a 45 second cooldown (up from 30 seconds)

Player vs. Player

• Corruption Effects
  • All Corruption Effects reduced by 50% when engaged in combat with enemy players.
• Remote Guidance Device damage reduced by 35% when engaged in combat with enemy players.
• Writhing Segment of Drest’agath damage reduced by 35% when engaged in combat with enemy players.

Classes

• Demon Hunter

• Havoc

  • Damage of all abilities reduced by 7%
  • Reverse Magic (PvP Talent) now has a 2 minute cooldown (was 1 minute)
  • Rain from Above (PvP Talent) now deals 2% of max health as damage (was 6%)
  • Mana Rift (PvP Talent) now deals 4% of max health as damage with a 4% mana burn (was 8%)
  • Cover of Darkness (PvP Talent) now increases the chance to avoid damage by 30% (was 50%)
  • Leech provided by Metamorphasis reduced to 10% when engaged in combat with enemy players (was 20%)

• Mage

• Frost

  • Damage of all abilities increased by 3%

• Fire

  • Damage of all abilities decreased by 5%
  • Greater Pyroblast (PvP Talent) now deals 25% of the target’s health as damage (was 35%)

• Monk

• Windwalker

  • Damage of all abilities decreased by 6%.

• Paladin

• Holy

  • Healing of all abilities reduced by 5%
  • Light’s Grace (PvP Talent) no longer stacks.

• Priest

• Holy

  • Greater Heal (PvP Talent) now heals for a maximum of 40% health (was 65%).

• Rogue

• Assassination

  • Damage of all abilities reduced by 6%

• Shaman

• Enhancement

  • Damage of all abilities increased by 1%.

• Warlock

• Destruction

  • Focused Chaos (PvP Talent) now increases Chaos Bolt damage by 30% (down from 65%)

• Focused Chaos (PvP Talent) now increases Chaos Bolt damage by 650% (up from 65%)

• Metamorphasis is now immune to damage

Amazing that this thing lasted an entire expansion, its just not a world of Warcraft ability… cant they replace it with something more interesting? : ( all the thousands of threads on people saying remove percentage abilities and they didn’t listen.

Bad timing too… just when I was thinking of rolling a Fire Mage alt during all this down-time
