Haven’t heard such a lie since “THIS PLANET WILL EXPLODE IN FIVE MINUTES!”
Though for once i’d love to be proven wrong.

“Remembers SL beta”
So that was a lie.
Boy, can’t wait to see demon hunters get their 15% magic damage reduction back the second the PTR comes up.
There’s no way this can be ready this fast, at least not in any sort of completed state.
The only things I’m looking forward to are an appearance from the Nathrezim and the Sylvanas raid. I wanted more customization or at least to know what happened to both the Horde loyal Dark Rangers and Sylvanas loyal dark rangers, but I think those are unrealistic expectations considering what Ion said.
A deaf cheerleader squad that is in comatose has a higher chance to listen to feedback vocally than blizzard has to any feedback.
With their track record of telling outright lies, surely they do not expect the player base to believe anything they say. Its time for them to show us.
Of course, they could prove everyone who is doubting them wrong, by releasing a patch that truly fixes ALL the things that have been complained about, in detail, since the SL launch and add some fun content. We shall see.
I better see some proper m+ affix changes (including the removal or tyrannical). This expansion has been the absolute worst for m+. Your affix system is screwed, bosses are more annoying than ever completely breaking tyrannical and mages/boomkins still haven’t been nerfed. Please also stop with the damn tornadoes. You didn’t need an affix around the worst part of BFA.
The PTRs are never brought up in a “completed state.” They’ll have probably the new Maw subzone available for 2-3 weeks, then a couple of raid testing days per week, the megadungeon probably opens a month later, etc.
I’m excited to see Chains on the PTR. Mostly, I’m looking forward to the class changes and systems changes, if any. Shadowlands so far has felt like an expansion that has about 90% of it being awesome and with the last 10% or so holding it back. It’s understandable, though, given that COVID has undoubtedly made it much harder for Blizzard to introduce any sort of updates outside of aura tuning to specs. If I had a bold wishlist for 9.1, I’d say:
Looking forward to what the devs have for us.
Please put more info about class balance. Feel this should be top of blizzard list.
I’m excited to see news finally about it, given the drought as well as the lack of information at Blizzconline. But there is a lot that needs fixing in the game and I’m concerned it won’t get that far. For as much as I enjoy this expansion, it has major faults that I don’t even know if a major content patch can fix, all spawned from the design choices at the start of conception.
We shall see. And of course we shall see if the story actually improves or continues the trend of horrific narrative. If nothing else, the raid and dungeon should both be good!
Will this patch include changes to pvp talents like you mentioned or is that planed for later patches?
THe key term is “In about 2 weeks” Does that mean it will be in the ptr before or after 2 weeks. Also how long will the ptr for the patch go on .
It’s not like the 9.0.5 ptr for a tuning patch but an actual content patch that could go on for a month or more due to stuff most likely being released in the ptr in stages.
Also John Hight will probably make something saying that they will have to delay the 9.1 ptr to later in Q2 2021 which would put it in June for a july/August release.
Will it be listened to?
Imagine this is the April Fool’s joke, RIP Blizzard.
When will we get a list of the revamped honor talents?
Please God implement some (ANY) changes to PvP…
I think the 10 week PTR cycle would put 9.1 out in June.
Obviously very difficult to tell if they are dropping PTR on April 13th (2 weeks from now) or a different date. No way to know if PTR will be less than 10 weeks or more than 10 weeks. When does raid testing start? How long will they need? What about testing the mega dungeon? We just can’t answer any of that and are left to speculate. At least there’s a PTR time window now though.
From Tuesday, April 13, 2021
Added 10 weeks
Normalized to 70 days
## Result: Tuesday, June 22, 2021
I think the smart play would be to get TBC out ASAP. See if New World is going to hit in june or july. If So, put more polish on 9.1 and release in august. Or if New world is going to hit in August, Push that June July mark. Dont launch at the same time as that.
