Blizzard is to blame for all of this. They changed the content first, and then thought it would be a good idea to just let classes rot.
The sick part is they are doing maybe the best job they have done in half a decade in retail with tuning passes each week.
Except for the fact ret was fine. People became so delusional pretending ret and paladins for that matter were some god awful trash when they arent.

Best healing class in the game
Best tanking spec
Ret has amazing utility
People just created a false narrative and drowned the forums with it until they got what they wanted, drowning out other valid issues as a result.

Maybe the raid is already full of prot/holy paladins and they need someone to cleave adds in Yoggs brain (rets are good at that).
Maybe the paladin has a hunter or priest friend and they want to run 2s or 3s.

It literally has 0 effect in pvp cause we don’t run that seal and taunt already does nothing in pvp.
Its because ITS NOT NEEDED and it appeases 0000.1% of the community, it does NOTHING for the game experience overall and just help 1 class, 1 spec period.
The community expects devs to be focused on BUGS and other annoying features of wow to make it better for EVERYONE. Not just loser DPS who think whining in life will get them anywhere…

Idk man. It’s clear to anyone reviewing Logs that Ret’s place wasn’t okay or authentic to OG Wotlk.
We’re still likely to be the lowest damaging class in the game. That’s fine with me because the disparity between just how much farther we were was lessened, and that’s all I was hoping for. I truly just think people who are blowing this up just dont understand just how much farther we were.
