Untimed Mythic Plus Rewards?

Just trying to understand what happens to end of dungeon loot if you do or don’t time a mythic plus. For example, did a 10 on my clothie without timing it. It opened the mythic vault slot, but instead of a hero cloth piece at the dungeon end I got a champion leather piece, which I sent to an alt. If you get a piece of gear in a timed mythic, is it guaranteed to be the armor type for that toon, but not if you don’t time it? And if you don’t time it, does it go down one type, like from hero to champion?

I think that’s just you getting nothing but rolling a warbound alt piece. It doesn’t have anything to do with timing or not timing the keystone dungeon.

If you don’t time a M+ you still get the same loot you would have at the end. Just 5 crests instead of 12.

Also WuE items are bonus loot.

if you got leather reward on your clothie from a 10 that sounds like a bug. report on bug forums if it is a bug

unless u mean u got like a blue gear that is warbound… then working as intended

Ye, loot should be the same aside from crests which are 5 instead of 12.

You got a warbound piece, which are completely separate from the normal drops. You rolled nothing, essentially.

M+ gives Vetran Gear WuE items until a certain breakpoint (I think +7 or +8) then it’s champion track.

ah their new alt gearing system.

Ya basically for personal loot you rolled a 0 (or whatever it is)

But on the bonus roll (WuE gear) you won

This I think is the one thing that pisses me off the most.

Punishing players with less crest is absolute nonsense, and only frustrating.
