Okay… someone else spent real money to get a token, so isn’t that argument kind of moot? What one person thinks isn’t worth paying for, another will pay double
Pay to win doesn’t require exclusivity at all, it requires your wallet to be the fastest and most efficient way to get achievements and end game content. Which it is. You can buy anything you want 100x faster than it would take you to get something yourself. It is pay to win and you choose not to see that, but that’s ok.
I am personally going to spend 800,000 gold on the dragon pack that is on sale right now. It my business how I play the game and what I spend my own gold on. Same goes on how I spend my RL money on. Stop with it matter to you so much what other people for whom you will probably never play with, do with their time and money.
Pay for the highest rewards in the game is more accurate. Why do you think this is ok? Honest question.
If the ban hammer would come down it absolutely would. Blizzard won’t do that though, they make too much money from token sales being bought by the boostees.
Yet, it’s still a “pay for the highest rewards in the game” model. How is that any better? Again, honest question.
Really?..really? Come on, you’re not even trying.
I’m fine with money. That’s why I could spend $15 for this game and not be affected in the slightest.
You’ve not proven anything. Try again.
So 15x2 = 20?
They’re not paying for your sub, they’re paying for gold.
I mean, they’re paying for their sub + gold, (and in essence paying for my sub as well), so it’s more like 15 + 20 = 35
They’re not paying for your sub, they’re paying for the gold.
And the fact they’re buying the gold with a token means they’re paying someone else’s sub/blizz store items, it’s basic cause and effect
Blizz claims anyway that tokens don’t just magically turn into gold, there’s a buyer/seller transaction that happens when a token is sold on the AH for gold
It’s literally in the definition. Boosts aren’t pay to win because spending real money isn’t a requirement.
You can’t be this obtuse.
Because a token isn’t required. It literally isn’t required.
If someone wants to spend a grand on mythic sylvanus more power to them. I think they are idiots but it’s their money.
Money doesn’t buy skill.
Yet it actually wouldn’t. It didn’t dent boosting before the token it’s not going to do anything now.
Most people buy KsM and heroic clears.
That’s not the best gear in the game.
The token isn’t gold. It converts into gold.
Good for you. That’s not everyone’s situation. Stop using the token as an excuse to validate your lack of success in game.
Sure thing. Keep the tantrums up my guy.
It’s not a requirement, but it has become the MOST efficient way of achieving end game content. Real money is BIS.
It’s the most efficient way for bad players.
Being efficient still isn’t pay to win.
You have plenty of people that are higher than your 1800 2’s rating through the use of their wallet. They have paid to win and are more efficient in obtaining rank than you.
Yeah, no kidding.
It is easy to pay for Anything you want in this game now.
If my definition of winning is KSM, AOTC, and Mythic full clear, including Sylvanis, I can pay for that right now. At that point I have paid to win.
Ok? I don’t push twos for rating. Twos is just to play with randoms in lfg. I don’t care if someone boosts in pvp. Most of them are still bad even with the gear.
It’s been that way since BC don’t kid yourself.
You’re definition doesn’t overwrite the actual definition.
You’re still not winning the game because you killed sylvanus or got KsM.
You can buy glad, the majority of players in this game cannot get gladiator. I have no problem admitting that. BUT, anyone can buy glad, anyone. It’s pay to win.
If someone buys a token and they don’t get gold from it, then what is the point of that token?
Ok? people have been buying glad since before the token.
You’re so clueless you can’t actually comprehend the token isn’t the cause.
With the exception of the tokens all of this stuff has been an issue since I started in BC. Just look at it this way, now you have more time for finding a game that makes you happy!
You can buy gold, gold can buy you anything in the game, at a much quicker rate than any in game time. I’m not clueless at all, you have what they call blind loyalty, good trait to have just not in this case.
