Does this count as forum necromancy? Since all of you unsubbed are dead to us.

I do believe a blue post mentioned that it was unintentional and would be corrected.

So enjoy it while it lasts I suppose?

I imagine when they moved the forums over, they didn’t put the same restrictions they had on the previous ones. People unsubbed could still post, but only in 3 sections. So it will probably get fixed eventually.

I would love to see this remain in effect. People who aren’t subscribed usually aren’t “gone forever.” We just often have other priorities that require our time and/or yes, even that measly fifteen dollars a month. I love keeping up on the forums, and would be pleased to occasionally contribute my input.

This, a lot of people keep up with wow even unsubbed for one reason or another, there is no reason to disallow them to post.

All it does, is encourage them to post in hots, hearthstone, etc forums instead.

Yes still can.
The one thing I will like to see corrected is not about the forums, but the fact you can join and invite others to Guilds.

I wanted to make a few level 20’s Allied with experience turned off.
Not sure if it’s the fact that I am the GM of the guild and set the permissions to allow invites on the lowest level. Not cool.

Posting on forum is cool.

Actually the whole thing with inviting to guilds may have to do with the level 20 having a high level character in that guild. That in particular is a perk for veteran players.

As far as the unsubbed posting on the forums: It has always been the stated practice that only people currently play should be able to provide input. Unsubbed players should only be able to post in the new/returning players and support forums.

And now I think I should go hide until I actually get more game time :wink:
