Unsubbed because NO FRESH

Fresh TBC servers were a thing in TBC lol. Don’t spout lies. They were constantly creating new servers during the leadup to TBC and even after its release.

You know what wasn’t a thing though? Level 58 boosts.

You’re playing a 16 year old game. They are going to focus their attention on where the money is.

I feel ostracized as a Starcraft fan entirely knowing my entire franchise is probably dead. You atleast got almost half the attention this Blizzcon. Not sure what you were expecting.

Holy crap, but blizcon certainly makes the trolls flood the forum.

I’m disappointed at the lack of an announcement for fresh servers. It’s still early though and i believe there would be a large portion of the playerbase interested in this option.

How many phases was classic supposed to launch with?
How many phases did it launch with?

But sure, unsub, ignore all the good stuff they said they are going to do.

Yup. Won’t touch WoW ever again without FRESH. THIS YEAR.

FRESH CLASSIC WOW. Lets do the right thing Blizzard.

this is fair and a lot more reasonable than the “paid boosts I quit” posts. I don’t WANT to start over, but I feel I need to if there is a way to avoid the mess that we have now, like a fresh server with low gold caps, AoE nerfs, etc. We will never play the game as it was unless we artificially limit a lot of the worst player behaviors and the amount of ways you can skip content that exist this time around

I love how there is never any reasonable discussion or reasoning, just “I’M UNSUBBING”

For vanilla, they listened when people wanted more phases. They literally just announced tbc, and people are already crying and saying they are unsubbing. Maybe try not throwing a temper tantrum and acting like an adult to try and get what you want.

I hate being that way but unsubbing is the only thing that will get the attention of the money grubbers at corporate.

Lmfao, yep xD

I say they gave PLENTY of choices :woman_shrugging:

Yep, choices for you to pay for

TBH, I predicted that Blizz was going to charge for character copies. I’m happy to even have this option. After the “leak” confused the heck out of me about having to decide where my PROGRESS was going to be saved at…I’m grateful for this news :slightly_smiling_face:

And honestly I’m happy for you and those of you that got what you wanted and I truly mean that.

But a lot of us have been asking for over a year for fresh servers be it classic or TBC.

We aren’t asking for multiple servers, just 1 or 2 would suffice.

We have our reasons

Well, Blizzard already ran like 2 surveys to see how people wanted to move forward, so if this is their decision, then fresh server enthusiasts must be the minority.

In the end someone was bound to get upset over whatever decision they decided to make but hey, I hope that you do get at least a couple of fresh servers.

If there was “a lot of you” like you say, why (in the video) did Patrick Dawson (Production Director) make the claim that Blizz’s interests is to cater to “the majority”, and (according to him) “the majority” are more interested in PROGRESSION? I’m really really sorry, but “the majority” overrules “the few” for “fresh”.

Majority is what led retail to what it is today.

I understand that, but you have to listen what was said in the Video, at the Round Table. Patrick Dawson CLEARLY stated, their main priority is catering to “the majority”. This was the “best” solution they could do to appease as many as possible. NOT EVERYONE! But quite a bit.
