I got DC’d in Torghast before the restarts this morning. Can’t get in, keeps saying “World Server is Down”. How about hearthing me or something. I would like to play, lots to do. Don’t have all day.

I spent all morning just trying to figure out the character stuck service. Wondering how to use it, or why it wasn’t working. Some communication would really have been nice.
I am stuck trying to enter Torghast on Hyjal server. It is a continuous loop and stuck load screen.
So, I don’t normally reply to blue posts, but I have a suggestion. As you can see from the evolution of the posts here, some good suggestions are coming out from players who are really good at solving interesting problems - like this variations on the “wiggle” method. How about you add a blue post on the walk backward, disengage, etc so that people see that it’s working? This problem has come about as an unintended consequence of portals that have an active radius rather than requiring a mouse click. The wiggle method came up as a work around to eventually get a person’s toon out of that active area over a period of intermittent access to a toon for half-seconds at a time. The code lacks failsafe if /then logic and the service team lacks the ability to jump in and start testing work-arounds. Meanwhile, I’m standing in the Maw watching endless streams of new vicims walk into the portal and get trapped.
No animosity here. Just trying to give constructive feedback.

Just to let everyone know i was stuck for 2 hours. just spamming my forward key after about 15 minutes my toon was unstuck. note dont run back into the maw after you get unstuck till blizzard fixes their crap.
Can’t play my main because of this, No alts can start SL Story because of another bug/server issue. Good Job Blizzard.

I have the same issue.
I mean why can’t they just teleport everyone inside to their home places? I would like to continue leveling professions at least.
im having the same issue too
Not sure if this is a temporary resolution, but why not “roll-back” the servers. I know some people will be upset (who can actually play), but potentially unstuck those stuck in the endless loop. This way the team can figure out the issue and correct appropriately while still allowing most everyone to play.
