unstoppable druids in pvp.

how about a 3 second cooldown on a form once it is exited?

any suggestions?

They already have this in place. There's a 2 second cooldown when you power shift now. It's been like that for years, and when it was released there was a big backlash from druids over it. They've calmed down about it now, but this still exists.

It's a shame you're not coming back to read this to edit out that section because that's a pretty embarrassing mistake on your part.
Have you tried one shotting the cat?

Balance is not all about 1v1.
TL;DR: I lost a duel...blizz pls nerf the 1 melee spec in the game that can stand up to the ridiculous perma slows and multiple roots my spec has.

I'm imagining lots of crying, thumb sucking and safety blankets still being used by OP.
Lol this is a joke right? We used to have the power to destroy frost mages like 12 years ago. But now shifting is so slow by the time I can shred I'm slowed again.

I dont even bother chasing them anymore. You blink, I charge, if you gap me again with slows I just shift and go kill someone less annoying.

In 1v1 do we even beat any mage without some pillar humping.

I think its op that a frost mage has the control they do, and survivability, with the burst potential they have as well but you dont see me making a thread crying about it.

you cannot stop a druid in pvp from chasing or escaping EVER. it's a massive imbalance, to be pretty much immune to snares and roots through the simple pressing of a button. a button that has no cooldown, and no cost.

let me give you a scenario i just encountered: me, a frost mage, was under attack by a feral druid. this druid was relentless. no matter how many times i slowed him with frostbolt, cone of cole, frozen orb, or blizzard, or rooted him in place with frostbite, frost nova, or glacial spike, this druid just shifted out of it. like it was nothing. i froze him in place probably 15 times during this fight, and he shifted well over 50 times, running away or chasing with that feral charge move.
no matter how much i slowed him, he was never slowed for longer than half a second.
no matter how many times i froze him in place, he just broke out and leaped towards me at full speed.

this kind of over the top mobility is such a stupid design, vs. a frost mage as well. who cares if this is how it's been since vanilla; it breaks the game. fairness > fantasy, when it comes to pvp.
note: this is not an invitation to criticise me or the druid i fought.

druids already move 30% faster than everyone else while in cat form- i think it is time that shifting endlessly to get out of snares and roots had a down side.
how about a 3 second cooldown on a form once it is exited?
or a ramping mana cost, so that shifting 3-5 times within 15 seconds means the druid cannot afford to shift again until they get some more mana?
perhaps give shifting into a form a 2 second channel, so that shifting is no longer instant? you know, like it takes 2 seconds to actually finish shifting into a form, rather than instant?

any suggestions?

btw: i'm not gonna check this thread after i post, so go ahead and flame and taunt as much as you like; i won't be here to see any of it.

So yeah its unfair for u?so how about enhance shaman ret paladin that u can slow them for internity?!@#$off when its come to u druid are inbalance, when u yourself have the luxury of snaring people to death, gtfo from here...there will be something that counter your class, learn to live with as other have learn to live with your class...
OP, you're always going to have a hard time fighting druids, because the only thing we truly fear is proper use of capitalization.
Aren't druids supposed to be the hard counter to [frost] mages? This game is full of hard counters like that. Feral owns mages, mages own warriors, etc...
You are the paper and feral is the scissors.

Mages need something to counter them or they will be out of control.
The salty tears, they're great. Plants need electrolytes too.

THIS.
Why even post if you are not going to check back for a solution , maybe get Gud?
People like this is the reason why classes will always get changes that people don’t want , and people will complain blizzard is ruining the game Becuz they have to put up with people who are to lazy to learn about class mechcanics and strats , it’s a lose lose for blizzard , maybe op should make a post to nerf the player who smoked him and not the class he be better off ...
Feral without mobility would get destroyed in PVP. This is what would happen:
1. Pop ur cool downs put bleeds up on DPS
2. DPS Class: pop trinket/stun immunity, pop crazy burst on feral
3. Switch to bear Form to slowly watch them out DPS your bleeds and nuke you down.

Feral only has one heal in bear mode and that is on a 45 second CD. So feral without mobility would make them into an abortion of a class.
Lol Mage can't own 1 class so he cries. Mages are still pretty decent at slowing us down and doing dmg. But ya you can't roll us like warriors. poor baby
LOL tfw mages complain about mobility

I mean, this happens already. Even with our current mobility you're not getting away from a competent melee dps in just cat/travel.

Warriors will charge/spamstring you more than you can shift in globals, Rogues will perma slow from range, etc. Feral can shift slows but the gcd spent shifting is detrimental to survival.

If anything, given our current squishiness, they should remove the gcd for form to different-form shifting in pvp only.
